After the Nirbhaya rape case....India was literally being called the rape capital of the world....do you think if someone put out some absurd number like 100000 girls being raped in India everyday wouldn't have mattered?

Numbers do matter especially if some is raising a serious issue......u can't just brush it off like that....chiding everyone who dares to question it......By questioning the numbers people are questioning the scale on what it was happening.....32000 is an alarmingly high number and one is bound to ask a lot of related questions....

I don’t know and I don’t care to know about the exact number but i am more interested to know if this is happening at all and what could be the possible measures to be taken to combat this.

I personally never said the numbers shouldn’t be questioned. Each to their own. But if that is all we are bringing to this conversation then how are you any different from the people who are allegedly inflating the numbers. Both the groups seem to be ignoring the actual problem here.

I exited the discussion 3 days ago when the thread was at 3 or 32,000. After 3 days and 2 threads we are still stuck there.

Some of us here are genuinely looking for answers and we are not affiliated to any governments or political parties.

If you exited that discussion then no point of returning back to that one, is there any ? I too would be more interested to discuss something that is really alarming. Not 3-4 or even 20 off cases from 3 cr.+ population. This issue clearly is getting much more attention that it deserves and I want to discuss why. A movie made on an issue is fine, people need to know is fine, but a PM endorsing this movie as hardcore facts give it altogether different color.

I want to stick to the discussion of why there was a need to use that high number, and on what basis ?

Oh wow so you are going to tell me if I need to return to a thread or not? But more importantly you are going to decide depending upon the numbers if something needs attention or not? Guess what, to some of us it’s alarming even if 1 person is getting effected and would want to discuss the root cause of such a problem and see how it can be stopped. We already got your point that you have a problem with the numbers, take a seat!

True. I shared Dhruv Rathee’s video few pages back in BO thread. The girls don’t have to be called ‘Bechari’ from any angle. They are still completely brainwashed and proud of their deeds. They are not in victim crying mode and they shouldn’t be trusted to make an entry back to my country. Govt. did the right thing by denying that right.

Either refer to the actual happenings and make a movie based on true story, or make an imaginary story with girls with no brains. This very idea that girls can be brainwashed like this is so insulting that it’s hurting my brain. Then Romeo squad will be deployed on roads to save poor poor us from these evil monsters. 😭 Everyone around me is responsible for me being dumb is the version and people supporting it like…. I dont know.

Lol. You saw that I am only and ONLY interested in the number and finding the reason behind using that number. Why would you quote me at all if you already settled with that discussion 1-2 days back ? 😕 Please by all means discuss whatever you wish to of course, I only stated the above because I thought what we wanted to discuss is mutually exclusive.

Yours was the post on the last page so I quoted it. I thought in 3 days and after 2 threads one would have come to a consensus about the numbers. So I peaked in to see if the discussion has moved on.

I definitely didn’t mean that what I meant is why you’d quote me when you see I am asking explanation only on the number. 😆 All those things you said, I am sure no one’s that jobless to do this with anyone, let alone be you or me 😆.

I am not that active all the time, I dont know what was discussed all this while. When someone supporting this movie with conviction, is able to tell me why 32K magic number was used, I’ll be convinced.
