Well, "Newbie" and hasini, you're both wrong...but ok, your belief is your belief...it doesn't affect my life - inside and outside the forum 😎

I could never understand, this continuous questioning and downplaying isis agenda by everyday citizens of different countries. Why do you want to cover crimes of isis? Why do you care what feelings it may hurt? And what kinda religious feelings are they if they get hurt over isis?

I have read Nadia Murad's book. Truly horrifying. Cannot imagine what the Yezidis have gone through and still are because of ISIS.

Everytime I read about what is happening to Yezidis it makes me think that something similar most likely happened to our ancestors when the invading arabs, turks and mughals came in and devastated this land.

And to think that there are apologists for isis is unbelievable.

TKS is just a snapshot of what is going on whether in Kerala, UP, TN, Sweden or UK.

Instead of criticising people and terror outfits who are clearly using the religion and carrying out these heinous acts in its name people are questioning everything from number of victims to name to intent.

What a tragedy! And then patting themselves on the back by saying they are kind and only care about humanity over country. Oh the irony!

Raijeera, you better stay away from the middle emoji in particular.. 😆

It can be interpreted as : stop fighting (dhishum dhishum) but I interpreted it as "aag pe hath sekna" when Hasini posted it the last time.. 😆

I really don’t know what your point is. 32,000 or 3, as long as we all agree that it happened and is happening, I think we can move on to why it’s happening and what can be done to stop it from happening?

I exited the discussion 3 days ago when the thread was at 3 or 32,000. After 3 days and 2 threads we are still stuck there.

If numbers don't matter ....then why was it inflated so much....Why didn't they keep it realistic.....and I agree numbers should matter....because every human life is precious.......but then if 3 will become 32000....then people asking about is not justified according to you......

After the Nirbhaya rape case....India was literally being called the rape capital of the world....do you think if someone put out some absurd number like 100000 girls being raped in India everyday wouldn't have mattered?

Numbers do matter especially if some is raising a serious issue......u can't just brush it off like that....chiding everyone who dares to question it......By questioning the numbers people are questioning the scale on what it was happening.....32000 is an alarmingly high number and one is bound to ask a lot of related questions....
