I didn't understand this too... What did he do so far, for which she punished him? And what was his punishment? How does he have a hand in her tragedy(assuming it's about her paternity & identity crisis)?

She made an appreciation post for him yesterday. She seems to like him. I'm not sure about her take on yumna. But it's insane that her colleagues and their cheap chamchis would dislike her. She's not their competition in petty parties or clothing. She's far ahead. She's a league of her own.

Most pages like diva and afia are heavily payed. Pages like galaxylollywood need to be renamed as biased and bouji. They liked that new drama of dananir who can't act. These two old siblings try and act like the stereotypical gen z coolness, weirdness cringe fest but it comes off as 🤮🤢

I must say that any page or critic is allowed to give their opinions. If they don't like yumnas look or acting that is their right. Freedom of speech above all. But they're too biased and do payed promoting which takes a way from their authenticity. It's okay once in a while but not all the time.

He definitely did not abandon her; he cannot do that. He is not wired that way! I have a slightly different view on Murtasim leaving Meerab at the doorstep of Karachchi. Definitely, he is angry with her for putting herself in that tight spot by helping Marium elope and he is punishing her for that. But I also feel that he made that decision partly because he was at a point where he, as Meerub’s husband, can no longer defend or protect her within his own house. He knows that Meerub was unaware of Zubair/ Anas’ identity. He trusts her; so, he would never believe that she had backstabbed him by plotting the whole thing. So, there is no way he believed Haya’s or Zubair’s words. And even after having the video evidence he was ready to disregard everything. Unlike during the accident misunderstanding, he needed to hear her words and wanted only and only to believe her words. And Meerub’s acceptance on her involvement in the elopement diverted his stance on the situation completely. It was not only protecting and bringing back his sister anymore; it was also to avoid or minimize the impact of his wife’s fall from grace. She said that Ma Begum will never forgive her. So, if something bad to be happened to Marium, Murtasim understood that Meerab will have to take the full blow! They all will blame his wife. You could almost see the wheels turning in his head. The husband overshadows the Khan; and becomes compliant to the enemy’s demands. The leader in him did not give in, he was responsible for his people; he was ready to find alternatives to protect his sister. But of course, when Murtasim’s wife comes into the picture, it is a different scenario altogether.

I think the soul-wrenching two tear drops that leaked from his eyes (I loved that scene, makes me wonder whether I am becoming some sort of sadist!) were a testimony that he was partly compelled to make the decision of making her leave. As long as the destruction fall upon himself, the husband would silently absorb it all. But the decorum of the Khan demands that he fulfills his responsibility of protecting his family. His ‘Chahat’ must take the backseat again; and he is angry on her for that. Despite requesting not to, she has put him on that spot. The sarcastic poetic comment on ‘mohabbat jaye bhad mein’ and his accusing and painful gaze on his mother in the promo, align with this. He is just reminding his mother that she once again has sort of pushed him to pick his responsibility over his chahat, that too wrongly; his gaze screams accusation, hurt, and disappointment. May be it is just me over analyzing every nuance! 😊
