Finally one celeb with a spine

The debate on same sex marriage and the court proceedings surrounding it is the current hot topic for the last one month in India but the film industry which has so many people from the LGBTQ+ community is awfully silent on the topic. Kudos to Bhumi for openly supporting this.

I am proud of her (Bhumi) and Onir and others who spoke in favour of it.

I totally loathe Kangana for her sexist, homophobic and transphobic rants and RTs.

I hope all those who once considered her a feminist or gave her platform on feminist sites, are regretting their decision.

I must say I gave her too much of a long rope. I regret every post or comment I ever wasted on trying to empathise with Kangana at any point and I regret believing her Rajat Sharma interview in 2016. Let her get lost.

Please. Kangana didn't support same sex marriage. She retweeted homophobic stuff recently.

But when they collectively make movies/series surrounding these issues and earn moolah, the least they could do is speak in support of it.

It also helps that she recently did a movie on this topic and has won awards/earned nominations. Just saying. Never heard of her being an aly before ?

This is what I said. Kangana is a sexist, misogynist, transphobic, homophobic, communal, racist, casteist scumbag.

I never said she supported. I reacted to a link where headline listed Kangana among celebs who spoke on the issue.

Shame on her and many other small time starlets barking against LGBTQIA communities, blaming feminism and also barking against law on marital rape.

I am glad she spoke.

Rajkumar, Manoj Bajpai, Sanjay Suri have also played gay characters or done films on this theme. But they are silent.

Atleast Bhumi had guts to speak in favour as an ally.

Without bothering about backlash or trolls or PR.

So people working in the Cigrette factory and earning from it are supposed to support smoking??

Everyone should support the Homosexuals because that is the right thing to do....not because they are professionally earning from it.
