There are some glitches in his character arc too...slap and jump was not justified...but he left her at the doorstep not on the road..he was hurt too..although it is also wrong ..Meerab did everything out of her selflessness...for mariyam..she knew she will get the burnt for it but mariyam will be happy...all this ousting out boosted her fear of abandonment and literally she has nowhere to go to...if she does not abide by their rules. ..they can throw her out... politely or not...does not matter..

Haya is a separate case...A character like murtasim will never give any leverage to haya...but I don't know it is the writing...

For me...Murtasim Loves Meerab too much and Meerab loves him too...he is hurt ...she is hurt and vice versa...So I just want them to be together..

The actress who plays Mariyam said this was the toughest scene, so I think she will finally take responsibility of what happened (including her suicide threat). Maybe that shocked reaction was after the whole thing or the suicide thing or how Mariyam wanted to elope before but Meerab stopped her.

Yes meerub try to stop her but mariyam gave suicide threats which meerub did not have any option and helped her to elope. Mariyam should be clear that yes meerub helped her only because of her.

Yaar, our dear Murtu is PRETYY SHAKAL, NO AKKAL. Sad to say - I had high hopes he would be intelligent.

His ziddi wife straight up told him that the reason she is staying back in the haveli is to get Maryam hitched with Anas. That was her promise and that was her goal. She repeatedly told him that she doesn’t back down from her promise, and that she promised this to Maryam. So, it honestly should not be THAT shocking to him that his bakri chasing wife would get caught up in this big mess, especially after she just took off and went to meet Anas. Yes, I can see how he is hurt after he asked her not to do anything like this after confessing his love for her. But shocked…not so much. He should have known his wife was up to something and stuck on that…if he was smart that is. He’s actually the one that told her to stay “mute” till the wedding was over. So as much as I don’t agree with Meerab’s decision to help her elope -it was F’ed up- he didn’t really investigate the matter as a person with common sense would and should.

And the Haya stuff…well he is straight up DUMB for keeping her in the house after she almost murdered his wife. Nothing else to say about that.

So, maybe Khan Saab needs to eat his words from the pool scene; it looks like he DOES need to go to school for 4 years to learn a few things after all.
