They have been married for definitely more than 2-3 months.

Accident recoveries alone would be 3 - 4 months at minimum. I got only a hairline fracture in my foot once and I had to wear a cast for at least 4-5 weeks.

• Car accident and Murtasim's fracture: 10-12 weeks recovery time
• Stair accident and Merub's wrist fracture: 4-5 weeks recovery time

If you go by seasonal wardrobe changes and law school applications, it seems anywhere between 8-12 months may have passed.
