Another one: Kannamoochi yennada from Kandukondein Kandukondein, Rajiv Menon's venture based off of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility with Tabu and Aishwarya essaying the roles of Elinor and Marianne Dashwood. This movie is aesthetically a marvel like Rajiv's movies usually are. Add to the cast Ajith Kumar and Mammootty as the respective love interests and you have a winner.

This song is based on raag Nattakurunji (only loosely because the antaras veer off into something else) but its a beautiful song nonetheless sung by the estimable Chithra. Idk what the Hindustani equivalent is - perhaps one of you know?

Jeev Rangala is an amazing song.. the way it showcases the leads journey and the lyrics along with these two (Shreya & Hariharan) gives goosebumps.
