Going by the content made on tv we cannot really blame him for not doing it. They rarely make dramas with leads being 35+ yrs of age and when he was doing tv, dramas used to end with 24-25 episodes. Now they drag almost all dramas beyond 30 unnecessarily. I guess he would rather be remembered for his good dramas than do mediocre content to stay relevant. Also the kind of content he has been part of 10 yrs ago won't be trendy nowadays.

I am not sure who all are his contemporaries but i don't see much of actors from his age group do much tv other than FQ. Humayun saeed , fahad mustafa, hamza Ali Abbasi also don't do much tv. Just one in 3-4+ yrs.

😆 farhan should do more roles like this. Nadia's best was suno chanda. 😒 . We can't see her in same like character all the time tho.

See my point is rare and gold scripts do come . Take an example of Alif , aangan or any other drama. It's not like he is not being offered scripts , He is. He is just lazy now to do tv I guess. 😆

If he wants to really make a comeback there is a way and opportunities available as well, I guess he doesn't want to now as he has restricted himself.

But it's not necessary those scripts are offered to him or he fits into the characters written or budget of those dramas are flexible. Mushkil se uss type ke content 2-3 saal mein ek ya do baar aate hai.

Fawad is like 40+, age appropriate role might be rare for him. I would rather not see him than see him playing a guy in his 20s and romancing girl's half his age.

He is doing webseries which have the same shooting format as tv. So it's not like he don't want to do acting at all. He also seems to be expensive. So if a good content is made on a fixed budget the makers won't think of even approaching him. Also there are equally talented young actors that come in half his price.
