These threads are moving so fast, I’m finding it hard to keep up. I know a lot of people are saying that Haya is getting away with everything and Meerab is facing the wrath of Murtasim. First of all, Haya is not going to admit that she knew who Anas was - she can just pretend like she didn’t get a good look at him. She may also come up with a good excuse of why she took the video but didn’t inform anyone (although I can’t imagine what that could be). Also we don’t know if she gets away with everything yet so let’s see.
Coming to Murtasim, I think it makes sense for him to be more upset at Meerab than Haya. Don’t get wrong, Haya is pure evil and deserves to be punished - how she just remained calm for her cousin while knowing the truth was chilling. Meerab however is Murtasim’s partner that you share a certain amount of trust with. Being deceived by her is going to hurt him more especially after his confession. He cares about her more so her actions will affect him more than anyone else’s. He went against his own judgment and gave this Anas thing a fair shot and when he saw enough red flags, he told her to back off. Previously during Meerab’s own kidnapping and the panchayat issue, he didn’t give Meerab reasons to why he makes certain decisions - here he did. That was growth on his part and most importantly trust he put in her. He might feel like she totally betrayed him. He’s not in love with Haya so her actions don’t hurt him as much but Meerab’s do. I get it because I expect more loyalty from my spouse than anyone else too.
That being said I feel so bad for Meerab. I know she was dumb but she was manipulated by Mariam. Her mistake was not letting Murtasim know what’s going on, but it’s so hard when someone puts their trust in you.
