Coming to Murtasim, I think it makes sense for him to be more upset at Meerab than Haya. Donât get wrong, Haya is pure evil and deserves to be punished - how she just remained calm for her cousin while knowing the truth was chilling. Meerab however is Murtasimâs partner that you share a certain amount of trust with. Being deceived by her is going to hurt him more especially after his confession. He cares about her more so her actions will affect him more than anyone elseâs. He went against his own judgment and gave this Anas thing a fair shot and when he saw enough red flags, he told her to back off. Previously during Meerabâs own kidnapping and the panchayat issue, he didnât give Meerab reasons to why he makes certain decisions - here he did. That was growth on his part and most importantly trust he put in her. He might feel like she totally betrayed him. Heâs not in love with Haya so her actions donât hurt him as much but Meerabâs do. I get it because I expect more loyalty from my spouse than anyone else too.
That being said I feel so bad for Meerab. I know she was dumb but she was manipulated by Mariam. Her mistake was not letting Murtasim know whatâs going on, but itâs so hard when someone puts their trust in you.

You put it so eloquently. This is what I was really trying to say the whole of last thread. But it came out as meerab vs haya. There is no comparison. Meerab is a good person at heart
It's the tragedy of it all. The betrayal or failure hurts way way more when your own does it. He trusts meerab with his heart and soul. Not haya. She means nothing to him. He'd hope she'd tell him about Maryam's plans.
