I think meetups for online forums/groups work well when there is one very strong common factor - all are fans of SRK/Harry Styles or are Harry Potter fans etc.

Bollywood may be the common factor here, but there are sharp divides and opinions within that. Some fan groups do not get along with each other. As a result, some people won't get along with each other.

If you want to meet forum folks privately, plan it privately with a group you interact with frequently and who get along with each other.
