In real life, this does not happens, relatives and friends and neighbors will never miss a chance to drive home the point that satya is her father by virtue of marrying her Aai.

Maybe but sai should have, at least, introduced savi to satya and let them know each other better instead, so this changed circumstance doesn’t come as a shock to her.
