Atomnis, I would like a movie with Aishwarya and SRK not being dead, not being siblings, not being a ghost, not being star-crossed lovers and be given ONE HAPPY ENDING.
Bollywood makes many types of movies and has tried many kinds of subjects. Its now upon audience to actually go and watch the stuff that's trying to wake you up and not blame on Bollywood for not making good cinema.
I would like to see Bollywood making a movie on child actors and their troubled life.
I'd like to see a romance between a younger man and older woman. We have seen it shows like Four More Shots Please and a miniscule side angle in Darlings and a half baked on-sided love in Modern Love: Mumbai. But I would like a full scale movie where it is not funny, no tragic, not creepy, but a very organic and natural mutual love.
I'd like to see a genuine teenage flick. Hollywood has so many teen flicks that there are even sub genres in teen flicks - raunchy comedies, teenage romcoms, teenage horror, indie comedies, coming of age dramas and more. I'd love more movies like Mean Girls, Bring It On, 10 Things I Hate About You, Heathers, and more.
Space Operas like Star Wars and Star Trek, not weird cheesy romances like Love Story 2050 but movies with meaningful plots, high octane action, smartly used CGI, and all.
Good one.
Especially the troubled life of child actors, child prodigies and child models.
I would add, I would like to see subject of males being sexually abused and how other men, society and so called MRAs also do not take it seriously. Some films have hinted at it but only subtly or for sensationalism or vulgarity but I would like to see it covered properly like issues of rapes and abuse of women are.
I would also like to see stories of asexual, aromantic people and how they are pressurised in this hyper sexual world or judged or called abnormal.
Lastly, I would like to see a sweet lesbian romance without stereotypes or vulgarity like those crap films like Girlfriend which presumed lesbian is manly or becomes lesbian due to bad experiences with men.
I would also like to see films which show happily single, childfree by choice people who are comfortable in own skin and defy stereotype that they are abnormal or selfish or maybe suffered trauma, and give a message that everyone has different path in life and different calling. Not everyone has same route to fulfilment or leading a complete life.
Movies along the lines of Rocket Singh or Peepli Live i.e. one that smartly brings out closely guarded unethical realities of various everyday trade & professions . Riveting & ofc must be realistic not a half baked masala like Jolly LL.B .
I think everything is touched baba. Just gimme a good old romance with absolutely ‘regular’ story with no agendas and no wokeness. 🙌🙏🏻
Being normal... Living without mobile
I would like mainstream cinema to normalize laziness and procrastination- especially in the women they portray. Tired of every heroine having to be this hardworking boss bitch. It would be refreshing to see the heroine just being lazy and unmotivated 😆
