Would love to read an essay about your views on

love !!!😊

hahahaha.... I am not qualified. 😆 but I will say that if it causes you to lose your marbles or a core part of yourself for the worse (such as with viaan), then one should question if that love is really good. love should make you a better person but that doesn't mean you change your entire personality into someone else like viaan. you should be you.

people tend to see the emotion of love with rose coloured glasses but people don't realize how many scams and crimes are also committed in the name of love. basically keep your dignity and don't let someone take you for a ride. basically boundaries and self-respect.

during the lockdown, there was quite a few love scams happening all over the world. people lost tons of money as well as peace of mind. the ongoing PK serial 'mere ban jao' shows how you can do stupid things because you are so desperate to please someone you love and that can come back to bite you. people use love as a way to manipulate and gaslight -- "oh you don't love me? I will block you if you don't do....."

something similar came in the regional news during the lockdown. many girls fell for a IG romeo. he would DM them, strike a friendship and then they would start dating etc. then after he had won their trust, he would ask for dirty pictures and they would comply because they were so blindly in love. then he would blackmail them with the very pics. he made a lot of money. the police said he had cheated at least 17 girls. the last girl had the smarts to tell her dad that a weirdo was asking for pics and he alerted the police.

so when characters like viaan sprout poetry about love, it just makes me eye roll. so yes, love is beautiful but love can also be negative. it all depends on your experience and we need to have a balanced view on it. thats my take!

However, i think a lot of this is coming from the fact that Aarav was never with children as he grew up. He was always surrounded by adults and went through a lot at such a young age- hence the 'maturity'.

Yes it is kinda inappropriate on Viaan's part to be discussing all this with a child but he has bonded with Aarav to the point where he does agree (and is fascinated) by a lot of Aarav's views, which again aren't his own because he always says that's what his mumma tells him.

And also for Aarav, he gets a sense of security and protection from Viaan which he seeks a lot. So although he gives all these advices and stuff but i see this as a form of clinging behaviour to feel safe and seek comfort!

So for sure i would go 😳 if i saw an adult and child talking like this in such detail about the adult's love life. But i do get where both are coming from.

Also for the new girl Vanya- just saw the starting bits of her interview. As much as i appreciate confidence in individuals, would i like this attitude all the time in my office- nope😂

And in the field i work in, that attitude is only gonna suit a certain speciality not all working professionals😂

But yeah still have to see the rest of the epi!

I come from a family where many relatives are retired teachers. if any of them saw such a scene in a drama, they would be fuming and yelling at TV. something I have heard often is adults need to keep adult stuff among themselves. when you discuss things like this openly in front of a child, the child can develop ideas beyond their age and start acting out in school. many of them have seen children exhibit inappropriate behaviour at school because they have been too exposed. so viaan is doing a huge disservice to aarav in that respect.

while one could say that viaan has no experience with children and therefore dumb, it is unbelievable that katha is not paying any attention to aarav's obsession with some adult's love life. instead she is constantly distracted by earthcon and stuff happening in office. she is not even wondering why some stranger is disucssing his love life with 8 year old. both these adults need to be slapped.

this is really a stupid way to show a potential stepfather bonding with a child. they could have shown genuinely cute ways instead of this nonsense. have seen ,many dramas where it is done so tastefully and always very child appropriate. it shows a complete lack of imagination. I skip aarav viaan scenes entirely now -- aarav is just another ITV cliche of an adult in child's body. tsk tsk.

Totally agree with your point about Katha! She's an amazing mother no doubt but this was EXTREMELY careless. Which is why the fact that this batman-robin and their real identities staying a secret is pretty unrealistic!

But I do feel Aarav had to grow up quicker than most other kids of his age so he doesnt realise himself what is appropriate and whats not. (Because I think as children, we did know to some extent what kind of topics were "adult" conversations, right?) and like you mentioned Viaan is very kaccha is all these matters 😂

Looks like you have been watching shows like crime patrol a lot 😛. I agree with you that Love can have negative impact in society too with all cases we hear but with my experience love is a beautiful emotion that one should experience atleast once in their lifetime. About whether love changes your personality or not, i think it does bring out some changes in way you perceive things. I have had experience of falling in love and then falling out of love too. Fortunately for me there was no bad experience involved, We parted ways mutually as his family did not agree and for me my self-respect mattered. We are still friends and continue to wish best for each other, He married the girl chosen by his family and that ended any sort of romantic feeling I had for him, Infact love then transition naturally towards beautiful friendship which now we both cherish, I know the day I will marry someone he will be happiest person around. Love allowed me to experience so many emotions that I had not experienced before. It is beautiful feeling to have that one person who loves you inspite of your flaws and accepts you as you are. The one who has this magic quality to bring you sukoon as Katha would say in your trying times. Even though my love did not have happy ending, thankfully my experience did not make bitter about it either. I feel trust is main thing here.

Sorry to bother you all by my personal experience here... felt like putting it out 😊

Frankly, how did Viaan give Vanya such a quick green signal to join Earthcon?😔 she is bright, young, excited architect & yeah her name is rhyming with his name, as she mentioned.

This girl Vanya for two episodes was repeating 'I'm from SMALL TOWN' so expected her home town to be something else, but she said she is from Bhopal😛 her dressing style & body language as a fresh architect attending a job interview with a top architect firm in Mumbai with 50 years legacy👎🏼 & then Vanya's way of giving interview, both silly & obnoxious to watch..🤔

No small town behavior seen in that nor was it intelligent nor confident nor matured.. 😳 it seemed she was OVER in all factors..We can understand Vanya's character got introduced now in KA to shake up both Viaan's personal & professional areas, but her intro & interview scenes could have been more sensible.

btw never knew Bhopal which is a capital city of Madhya Pradesh & one of the largest Indian cities gets termed as a SMALL TOWN. (whom so ever wrote & directed her scenes in KA👏)

(Small town is neither a village, nor a city. It is an economic parlance representing the area providing liaison between rural centres and urban places of significance)

Including Vanya in the plot might be good move by the writers, she can have that drama that we were missing from the show. I just hope they dont turn Vanya negative. I would love to see angst between Vanya and Viaan. Howver I do have a doubt she said her mother is not abled , she looked quite fine when Viaan saw her with katha in car that night , she did not look like the one Vanya described..

what happens with kids like aarav is that they end up having a delayed childhood phase. this can happen either in their teenager years or young adult or even as an adult. basically all the things they could not express as child, they end up expressing those kind of emotions much later. so it is a type of stunted development (there is actual psych term for it but I can't remember).

one would hope the old people around the complex were only discussing appropriate child stuff with aarav. so I don't really see why viaan and aarav are bonding in such a stupid way. why not bond over cricket or over dogs or something in common. like I said before, it shows utter lack of imagination on the makers part -- makes me think no one on that writing team has any experience with children.

Yeah thats what I was wondering!

Idk if they are gonna show her to be lying so much.

Perhaps they can show that the other lady had gotten pregannt but given up her baby because she didnt want the responsibility? (So in that way both Viaan and Vanya can bond over the fact that they dislike the woman 😂 )

I was wondering if in any way this could be Teji's daughter that she had to give up or was taken from her? But that seems very VERY less likely because Viaan would have remembered.

Thank you dear 😊. Yes, it is hard, it requires lot of maturity in understanding that not everything you can get in life, and it is okay to let it go.
