An 8 or 9 year old child is so worried about his only adult friend not being able to convince his friend to be his girl friend is something very wrong. On one hand they show him to be a kid making dream catchers for his baby brother & the next morning having such chat with his friend is so not settling well with me. As much as I like Viaan & Aarav’s bond it feels like they don’t have anything to discuss about Aarav’s school, his hobbies etc. Aarav feeling sad about he is not able to do anything for his friend is a little too big emotion for a small child. If the same discussion is happening between 2 adults the dynamics would have been different. It is not about showing Aarav is mature for his age. This is downright dumping adult issues on a child knowingly or unknowingly.

How come Katha never tried to find out who is Robin. Neither does Neeraja bother about what is happening with Aarav. If Katha talked on a call with Robin she’d know it was Viaan but it is not the point.

I hate when children in itv shows are shown to exhibit adult behaviours when still a child. The maximum I can do is omit their parts & watch the show.

100%. it is so absurd and makes a mockery of a friendship between adult and child. why is an adult discussing his love life with a child? viaan needs a solid slap.

and katha as a parent is just sitting there listening? how dumb is that!!! she needs her brain checked. katha seems like she is so obsessed with earthcon and viaan that she is not even caring for her child's welfare or what he is up to these days. so much for trying to get work life balance.

And cheesy too. Way too much. Gosh I will just crawl under the bed if my hubby gets remotely close to speaking like this. And fall out of love too. Ha! 💡 💡 I think the message is how to stop someone from loving you.

Waiting for Teji to stay true to character, at least, and kick up an almighty fuss, maybe somehow find a way to blame Katha for Vanya entry also (jis din se woh Katha tumhari life mein aayi sab galat ho raha hai) and provide some non-satvik drama to the show

just FYI -- by the way folks, we in India often say stepsister even when it is the same family. however, outside India, it has different meaning.

stepsister/brother means they share different set of parents. so they are not related biologically but only through marriage of parents.

halfsister/brother means they share one parent in common and so they are related biologically while one child's parents are divorced or with someone else. so technically viaan and vanya are halfbrother and halfsister because they are both children of viraj.

Hmm about Viaan and Aarav's friendship- i agree- discussing Viaan's love life is pretty inappropriate.

However, i think a lot of this is coming from the fact that Aarav was never with children as he grew up. He was always surrounded by adults and went through a lot at such a young age- hence the 'maturity'.

Yes it is kinda inappropriate on Viaan's part to be discussing all this with a child but he has bonded with Aarav to the point where he does agree (and is fascinated) by a lot of Aarav's views, which again aren't his own because he always says that's what his mumma tells him.

And also for Aarav, he gets a sense of security and protection from Viaan which he seeks a lot. So although he gives all these advices and stuff but i see this as a form of clinging behaviour to feel safe and seek comfort!

So for sure i would go 😳 if i saw an adult and child talking like this in such detail about the adult's love life. But i do get where both are coming from.

Also for the new girl Vanya- just saw the starting bits of her interview. As much as i appreciate confidence in individuals, would i like this attitude all the time in my office- nope😂

And in the field i work in, that attitude is only gonna suit a certain speciality not all working professionals😂

But yeah still have to see the rest of the epi!
