Harka Bai is Akbar's first Rajput Wife, the mother of Salim- who was given the name Marium-uz-Zamani for being the heir-bearer.
She is popularly known as Jodha Bai and was the Princess of Amber.

Jalal-ud-din Muhammad Akbar had many Rajput wives but Harka Bai urf Jodha Bai was one of his chief Queens.

She was extremely popular and powerful, she had an army of her own and also ran some of the Mughal Kingdom's trade.
