They could but jhoom will not be able to compete with TB no? Not a fan of the kadwani boy..Never seen anything of his.. if i was the head of geo.. i wouldnt want to put anything with TB..

I just wonder why they chose to go down this route for all of the female characters here. They didn’t even leave Saba behind here; she is another full-on clueless larkhi. You can have, and these female characters do have, legitimately tricky and challenging situations where the females can still act accha soch samaj ke, and still be genuinely tricked, confused, end up with dhoka and misunderstandings etc. No need to show all the females of the Khandan as so clueless, mindless, extremely naive, etc. to get the storyline done here.
Yes, Meerab shows some smart behavior in this track, and then is shown to do something so silly again. Why meet with Anas and his mom without Murtasim? Did they forcefully pull her out of the mall, like Rohail “forcefully” pulled her out of the car? I am getting irritated as well by this dragging of the Maryam plot and the girls’ roles in it.

Why is it that Murtasim can fall in love and still keep his wits about him? Or be angry/ furious and again, still be shown to be “even keeled” and wise etc. To me, these types of things contribute to the whole “girls can’t control their emotions/minds” stereotype where this justification is used to say/ think that ladki zaat can’t be trusted with important decisions in society or about themselves. Because they are “more prone to unstable/ unreasonable thinking.” How many girls continued to be gas lighted like this - “you’re crazy, you must be PMSing, don’t get so emotional, don’t overreact blah blah blah…” Happens everywhere still. I make sure to call my husband out on this kinda stuff if he ever makes the mistake of saying things like that…also b/c I have two boys and I don’t want them to grow up being able to throw those lines at and about women so casually and easily.

Now, to be clear, I absolutely don’t feel that all dramas need to have some moral/ societal/ good message etc. Some are enjoyable because they are just so light and whimsical, and yes, kinda amusingly ridiculous - and that’s ok. So if TB falls in that category, then that’s just it - it has to at least then be amusing or enjoyable. From what I can see on Twitter/ IG and to some degree in the forum, many people are no longer amused by the TB ladies and are not enjoying the particular Maryam misunderstanding track. So, to me, I wish they would have had at least one female character who was acting reasonably the whole time!

i am hating the fact that writer is showing females especially meerab so dumb and bad decision maker in tb ...

It's not about putting anything with TB if it's on the same channel. If they put it in TB slots, TB audience is surely gonna watch atleast 1-2 episodes.

Kadwani's boy Telefilms was a blockbuster, I don't know why but it was 😆😆

Looking at the teaser they have spent a lot of money.

I can't watch a thriller show one episode at a time. Maybe, I wil binge watch it and too depends on the feedback.

Even in her interview, show couldnt and wouldnt stop talking about murtasim.. i remember even rabia said, its not fair for meerab’s character..

she basically wrote her DREAM man!!!
