since he is ML, he won't be criminal and so he comes across as someone with no sense of respect and self-dignity. when he felt guilty about the ONS, he was constantly on tip toes around her making sure she wasn't uncomfortable. now it is like he does not care what she feels because he is only focused on his own feelings and does not care what it looks like to others. it is not fun to watch such selfishness. that is creepy second lead/villain behaviour.

if he wants to love her from a distance, then he can but he should not be telling her that he will not change his mind for his whole life etc -- thats emotional pressure and blackmail. that is what many of us feel uncomfortable with. she has rejected him 3 times now; he needs to back off and stop with the love declarations.

as for him, getting destroyed by katha -- I want it to happen!

So none of us could support it had we don't know viaan and the whole story of WHY HE IS SO ATTACHED TO HER (that's the other point) if the show has drawn viaan as a psycho patient or a man with criminal intentions.

In the ONS era he was guilty that's why he was behaving like that (redemption track)

But now he isn't guilty to love her

and he doesn't mind rejection as it's her right.

About self-respect i think viaan doesn't consider it like that, he considers her worthy of his trials and feeling her fear from being FREED from her past ( he feels it in the hospital scene and even in lonavala trip)

If katha told him she rejected him out of ONS issue, i think he would back off directly (that's my imagination)

I know it's her decision and she doesn't even need to justify the reason of rejection if she wanted

But the way she rejected him still giving him the abolility to hope as like ( when she could forgive me earlier why couldn't she loves me someday) i don't know if i explained it well

He will try manytimes ( you will remain counting i guess 😂😂😂) till he eventually back off at a certain point where he would feel guilty again

I don't know it will come with batman revelation or other fight between them.

I was speaking here in the context of guilt when I said he chose love and hope. And as for real world, do we not watch these things to escape reality and be in the fantasy world for some time...I personally like to analyse where the characters are coming from and understand them better because you cannot get that window into a real person's life that easily... And Everybody knows self-love is the best love.... You can never be happy and love someone else until you love yourself and be happy with yourself.... But not everyone in real life also realises it for a long time... This is after all just fiction.... There is still a lot more to go through ...

This is where I beg to differ.... The crimes happen from expectations and individual mentality... In this case, I don't think Viaan is expecting anything from Katha... He is just happy to be in his current state unconditionally.... All his actions are not from the point of expecting something from Katha... But him feeling the need to be there for her as much as possible....

See, he will be very happy if and when she accepts his love but also he is not waiting eagerly for it to happen either... He is just doing what he feels is right....

As I said, depends on individual person and their expectations... We cannot judge one person based on another person's mistakes... Here toh Viaan is fictional and as you mentioned the ML... And a very well written one at that otherwise I would not have been able to write this much about him..... So I hope the writers will give him a beautiful character journey ...

I don't think Viaan's behaviour towards Katha has changed. He still respects her boundaries and never once crossed his limits. It's just that both have become a bit more comfortable with eachother.... As for him not considering her feelings... I don't think that's the case either ... Otherwise he would not assure her that he will not cross any limits and that he is not expecting anything from her.... The only thing he is doing is staring which is actually for us viewers and not for her... Because he never intended for her to even notice him staring nor any other office members ...

This is the best thing about him for me actually.... He is just being honest about his feelings with her and not hiding them. He just doesn't want to hide anything from her. He is still going to love her from a distance with clarity from his side to her not expecting anything in return... If Katha chooses to she can ignore him completely... People may ask how she can ignore him if she knows his feelings...well, how can Viaan ignore his own overwhelming feelings? By being clear with his feelings about her atleast he is not doing anything with hidden agenda which is much worse in my opinion....

For me the irony in this, if it truly happens, is he was so transparent about his feelings for her from the get go and she was completely aware of where Viaan is coming from.... Yet, she chooses to destroy him to protect her own heart and stop feeling these things for him... Like the angst from both sides is going to be lit... Please bring such kind of dhamaka makers...

I guess even though our perspective on show is different the output we want is the same.... 😅😅😅

I am waiting to see what the makers are planning to do...

I enjoy watching the show. You can't predict leads scene in the show. We have watched Indian show too much so now I can literally predict the scene and scenario between the lead couple.

Here with the katha viaan , these predictions hardly comes true.so I m always excited to watch them .

@bold, Viaan never realize his mistake until Katha arrived.

After childhood trauma, he become aloof, probably because of public mocking of his father's death. He has very few friends whom he can trust like Eshan and Jitu Bhai. He focuses on his achievement, work like machine which makes him confident, control freak, rude and superiority complex arrogance.

Viaan was also wrong about that transport lady which Katha made the deal. Viaan was never righteous guys, more like an achiever who believes in trying again and again until achieved. He was shattered because he become the same person (his father) whom he hated the most.

Katha not only challenges his ideology about woman is gold-digger. She also challenged his belief that woman can work effectively in both home and office.

Viaan realized he was wrong all this time. Later He has to change company policy where mothers are not in higher position.

I completely agree with what all you said. It's just that he CONSIDERED himself as a righteous person... And in his own prejudiced mind he tried his best to be as good as possible. He didn't even know his prejudices are making him a not so righteous person and that's where Katha comes in.... She showed him his mistakes and he immediately understood and tried to make himself a better person as much as possible even though his own image about himself is shattered.....

I was just trying to explain his thought process and where he comes from based on what I understood....

to make it worse, katha was like preschool teacher and was like "okay children, now hold hands, say you are sorry and go home." and both yuvi and meera broke up. what a waste of EMA. 😂😂😂
