I agree with you kusum. I've realized the same too after how everyone nit-picks at Murtasim.

Murtasim was always toxic. When teasers came Murtasim was toxic. When episodes aired Murtasim was toxic for slapping and Meerab was a innocent for cursing him, then Murtasim was toxic for requesting Meerab to stay in the car whereas Meerab is victim to order her husband around rudely. Murtasim was toxic for driving the car rashly and Meerab was a saint to trigger him, Murtasim was toxic to take Haya to village and Meerab is wise to not create boundaries with Rohail. Murtasim is toxic to express his opinion which is a product of his upbringing and no one has made him realize till now that he is wrong whereas Meerab is the most intelligent person to get Maryam engaged with a person by seeing one ring and then promising to make her elope with a person who is actually not willing to send his family.

In the middle of the drama what happened we all forgot. Murtasim was never nice but was always wrong, Meerab was never disrespectful but was always correct and kind.
