Zubi dubi was going to do something like this regardless of what KMK did. It was established that he harasses women at the start of the story.

If not Maryam then someone else. In a weird twisted warped way attacking the Khans personally finally will put an end to his story. MoodYam is just a means to an end for everyone to learn their lessons, if she wasn't so chummy with witchywooooo I might actually feel sorry for her.

When you stop a woman from gaining knowledge you give her no abilities to fight back in life. I can understand why Maryam would fall prey so easily, she knows nothing about life.

I am not sure about Meerab, she was pampered yes but not cut off from the outside world like Maryam. She had an active social life, involved in social causes so she is well aware of violence against women, rural or city life bad people are everywhere so she has seen more of the real world, was aware of her father's legal work so she must have some understanding of criminal activities. I can sort of understand her not figuring out that SN is a loser because we make excuses for our friends. But zubi dubi is a stranger she should have been far more alert and far more suspicious, especially after he tried to elope.

I think the writer intended to create a nice love story, but she lacked the talent to keep the story focused on the hero and heroine. It is very easy and convenient to bring in a third party and make them create chaos, to write something beyond this you need to actually have original ideas.
