I don't wish Sai to reconcile with Virat. Not at all. But her marrying someone else won't solve Vinu 's problem. Virat has reached a point where there is no going back to Patralekha. He will go berserk and completely off the hook. He may even turn vengeful.

Vinu wants his parents to be together. They might remain married for his sake. But that compassion , trust and respect they had between them has gone for a toss. It's a dead and toxic relationship. Vinu's home is broken unfortunately. Sai or no Sai.

Also Sai is still not thinking about marriage after promising Vinu. Wonder what else will push her.

I agree that Sai need not have promised Vinu about VP but the kid was incessantly badgering. He kept on repeating the same thing. When she said I'll fix things- that wasnt enough for him. So emotions mein beh gayi.

Again with Ash, Sai could've been mean but Sai as a person is genuinely soft hearted. Today Sai showed she maybe soft but she hasnt forgotten how people treat her Sai was really honest. She did point out Ash ki hypocrisy with a wry smile. First wanted her out of CN and now pretending to care and enquiring about well being of all. Acknowledging that Sai will cure Vinu but not helping Sai get her haq as aai to Vinu. She said "I always saw you as my aai but clearly you only saw me as daughter only when i was bahu and Vs wife, otherwise you dont care."And Sai even said its not that P has become your daughter now which is the issue, its the fact that she completely disregarded her independent equation with Sai, everything Sai has faced that Ash knows about and also knowing that even now Sai has been clear about boundaries but V had violated them. Sai is not the type who will be rude to someone she genuinely loved as a mother. But she did make her points. Personally, absolutely I'd love it if she told Ash to STFU and stay the F away from her and show her a mirror about all her hypocrisies including her support for a criminal like P.

I dont think she heard Ps taunts without rebuttal this time. She gave it back saying if V had convinced me dont you think he'd be standing here happily to invite me in. and then she marched into see Vinu haq seh without waiting for Ps approval or reaction because she doesn't need it. And this time for a change P didn't interrupt Sai Vinu conversation.

So yes overall I agree, i want Sai to be more sharp, acerbic with her words to CN reminding them that they have no business having any expectations from her either way- whether to convince her to leave V or get back together with V. I wish she would remind everyone that P was, is and will remain a criminal and V an abusive ex-husband and all of them co-conspirators or mute spectators.

But makers are showing Sai as a slightly mellowed down petsonality now with age and motherhood, and also just too exhausted to even verbally volley anymore. and theres also her soft heartedness because despite the bitterness and angst, she can't hate any of them - V or CN folks because her love for them all was genuine. Every person in the family - she had genuinely cared for their well being and considered them as her family. Its hard for her to forget it all.especially with 2 kids now who are both biologicaly related to these people and she wants the kids to have people to call "family" since she herself is an orphan. Thats why she hasnt let her past impact Savis relationship with anyone

Sai is also really mature. She does not bother to wish ill or harm on P because of her deeds coz she realizes that P may be cruel, villainous but the real person who allowed P to succeed in her plans was V- who picked p over her. And now Vinu her son is obsessed with this woman. So as much as it pains her , if P being "happy" with V, Vinu is what will make Vinu feel better so she'll do it for her son as long as she's a part of his life in some way. She cant fulfil Savis wish of living in CN because theres just no way to explain to that child why a man cant have 2 wives and why Sai cannot reconcile with V. Its not that she's prioritizing Vinu over Savi but Vinus wish is doable- in at least the aspect of taking herself out of the equation and letting VP figure out their relationship but Savis wish is impossible to fulfil. Savi can always have V, Vinu in her life but her wish of Sai V together cannot happen.

Given the number of times V has flipped to go back to P, Sai probably thinks this time too it'll happen easily enough.
