Haya is an important member of the family. Obviously she has to know about Mariyam's marriage being fixed before the bride to be and the namesake 'Khaani'. Who are Meerab and Mariyam? Why do they need to know? They are not that important.

In the picture of Murtasim you posted, may be he gave that expression after seeing both Meerab and Mariyam sad.

This is also possible. May be they thought mariyum also likes the guy.

Can't Maa Begum see Mariyam's expression when she announced Mariyam's marriage being fixed? Is she ignorant or innocent to not notice the expression on her face?

I did not watch the Episode 32. I just followed the updates. But in Maa Begum, Meerab and Mariyam scene, didn't Mariyam clear that she wants to study and not want to get married? Even if Maa Begum thinks that Mariyam likes Naurez, shouldn't she confirm it with Mariyam first before fixing the marriage?
