Sai age in the show

As the topic says wondering, what is the age of Sai in the show.

It was shown she was married young to the guy almost 10 years older. Though Virat's behavior hardly shows any maturity.

Plus to have kids, so early in her professional life. Were there pressures from the family? New show watcher, so unsure about the history of the show.

30-32 years maybe

12th done : at 17 or 18 

Mbbs : 5 years (18+5=23)

Vinu : 1 year (23+1=24)

Leap : 6 - 7 years according to savi's age (24 +7=31)

Sai was 18 when she got married to V...just joined into a medical College.

18+5= 23-24

Then 1 year of internship/ real marriage and Vinu= 25-26

5-6-8 years of leap... because Savi doesn't look older than 5 while Vinu definitely looks older, maybe an 8 year old... So around 30-34 years...

Her daily struggle was shown, she used to wake up at 4am to do household chores, used to sleep late after studying at around 11-11:30 but her husband never helped or took a stand and then there were daily ZA scenes because of which she had to miss her classes, suffered short of attendance too. CNiwasis and V's expectations never got fulfilled, and Sai too got used to all...

I still remember post harinee birthday fiasco when she left house and came to live with Devi-Pulkit, that was the first time when she was served bed tea by Devi and that made many Sai Stans emotional.

I am suprised is there no residency time period after medical school, that takes another couple years and she is shown as as an Oby/gyn and also a surgeon which is another couple of years. So was expecting her to be older.

Regardless suprising to show multiple pregnancies tracks in such as short time period.

Thanks for the detailed timeline update. Not sure what lead her to have children or try surrogacy in these conditions.

She was forced to realise love at first place post Shruti track. V made it look like he was having an affair and a baby with Shruti, Sai divorced him because he was being accused of having 2 wives, so his job was in danger. Sai moved out of CN to live in hostel when Shruti's husband sada returned and kidnapped Sai to avenge V of stealing his wife and kid and told her that Shruti is his wife and the kid is also his and that he took promise from him to take care of him. Mind you, V-Shruti lived like a couple for months and Shruti is in love with V. Then V saves Sai from sada and his goons, get him arrested and Sai and whole CN is guilty of doubting V's character but now V starts acting like a prick and CN start blaming Sai for V's fallout with the family. She is sidelined, made to believe that she didn't have anyone. That's when she realises that the family she considers of herself is hers due to V. Due to abandonment issues, she starts feeling that it's only V and his acceptance which can get her through, so she starts making amends, starts living at CN, realises her 'love'. Meanwhile, V announces breakup just to soothe his ego but once he does his anger soothes. Then, when V's bua is getting married, whose marriage is also helped by V-Sai, Sai proposes him with dhol nagaada. They get married in same mandap. Then starts job vs family issue by BK. Once it gets sorted, they consummate, she goes pregnant. There is return of Jags, and his gundagardi, fuelled by V's bevakoofi, lead to Sammy's death. Sai is made to be a culprit while she is pregnant and her good for nothing husband looks on while she is slapped by bhabhi and tortured during the 13 days post his death. In the process, she slips down the stairs and falls, leading to miscarriage and her losing her fertility due to stress. Again the prick behaves entitled and abandons her, making it all her mistake. He moves out of their room, ignores her. Reason shown was he wanted to live pregnancy with Sai. So Sai gets desperate and an attempt to not lose him again, says yes for surrogacy. She even selects a surrogate but bhabhi plots, scares the surrogate and gets Sai attacked at the last, meanwhile gets herself inseminated.

I hope above timeline makes sense.

Surrogacy came into the storyline because Virat abandoned Sai after her miscarriage and infertility
