In my opinion his dialogues address what happened 6 years ago.

Even then Abhi didn't listen to AK and never turned up when kid was born.

Today he is late so Nav speaks about the present but words address the past.

In a way it is good that Ar knows the truth.

6 years ago Abhi got in Ar and KM's words and threw AK out.

Esp "Tujhse meri khushi dekhi nahi gayi na Akshara" and bla bla blu blu

Abhi puts all blames on AK then even Sirat's death.

It seems from the precap that Abhi is engaged somewhere bcz of Ar. Wo kaand toh karegi hi.

But he reaches at last moment.

Unlike 6 years ago when Abhi was all muddled up in the web of AR KM, now he is connected to Abhir. He will show up no matter what.

And cmn to Nav he's serving as a checkpoint for him.
