For a show apparently with no depth there is details here and there we miss.

So here I am trying to put in my thoughts as neutral perspective ( I feel so , everyone is not obligated to feel same).

Meerab is new character which hasn’t been portrayed so far on any ITV or PTV screens . She is not a weak or strong character but in fact she is probably one of female leads who comes with her own plus and minus and YZ had brilliantly portrayed it !

Meerab is 21 year old girl with independent thinking and near perfect life and life style ! She sees world as black and white and puts people in box based on her impressions of her on them, doesn’t rationalise much just like manual driving , this speed limit - use this gear!

She has always been speaker for women and their rights! She lives in her world and suddenly she is thrown in this among people and system whom she detested all her life and in her own words Everything she does is her reaction and she doesn’t need to justify or give reasons!

Let me take each and every of her defiance

1. The dance - She was unhappy with marriage but still went ahead and danced ! Tell me any girl who is so bitter about forged marriage will she dance ? No and if she does , how hard it is not to believe she did it for upsetting and insulting khans?

- But she danced because she forget the circumstances and what the occasion was! Just like any small kid who is upset and suddenly sees something she likes and totally forgets she was angry ! It’s only when KMK drags her it hits her and being meerab she is, she justifies and he steps back !

2 . Both times at terrace, she contemplates jumping as she was humiliated which I say is a thought that crosses most girls when they feel humiliated and unloved. Both times KMK steps in and fires up real meerab and she is like back to herself.

3. The whole village shit !

Her walking into panchayat and announcing her decision is so her style , like how she didn’t wait for police during saima Baji episode , when things were getting out of control she took charge , but the point remains would her standing up made any difference?
To her - yes , she wouldn’t have had to live with burden that she didn’t try to help and left naila alone like how her own left her to face circumstances!

The entire scene was to show how patriarchy works and if you want to fight ! You need to part of system and fight with plan. Just your ideals will not let u win !

4.Accident - She never expected KMK would be so upset at her not being there and remember there his outburst was shock for her and when he asks to go ( he meant leave from here not house) and she took at his leave the house .

But she learns so when Rohail thing happened

1. She didn’t argue in car , she now knows what fuels his anger so just drops it .

2 . She voluntarily goes back with him, it wasn’t rain she had her hand bag when she was running behind him. She made her decision to go back.

5. Rohail track

It happened in same world where KMK takes his unmarried female cousin along with him to village !

it doesn’t need R or H to have feelings for M-M .

No girl in any conservative society would go to her male fiends house alone and no married man would take his unmarried cousin to anywhere where alone !

Both tracks were inserted to bring contract out and break contract! That’s it and this unfortunately happened at cost of both leads character integrity !

Hope I made sense , and to all who say KMK is writers favourite if so we would have never seen

1 . His OTT birthday behaviour

2. Him slapping her

3. He would have never ever taken H to village

4. His reaction to Rohail and the jump!

It’s just that KMK is also diff male character and his flirting has been lapped up like moths to fire doesn’t actually make him more well written than meerab !

Both Meerab and Murtasim characters are flawed as any human and that is what it makes them so endearing and they both learn from their mistakes and yes they learn from each other too!

He has anger issues and she is impulsive and they don’t trust each other , they need to work on themselves if yeh want to stay together. They need to accept one other faults and shortcomings more than they accept their love for the other person! This is how marriage work! You need to communicate and compromise not complain and compete with each other!

Compromise always doesn’t mean sacrifice!

Hey winter, thank you for writing this !

To me, both characters are flawed and at times border on being unlikeable, but together, you just root for them and their marriage to survive ! Hoping in adversities is a mountain of a task you see

Marriages are never linear, nor all is hunky-dory every time and a marriage like this was bound to be tumultuous and almost cataclysmic which is what it's heading towards

They will grow together, learn from their mistakes and come around sooner or later to each other because they are each other's sanctuary

And for once, can people stop expecting typical cliche things from this show?

It's breaking some norms and instead of taking the adventurous ride , everyone's busy waging war that who deserves whom ! It's useless , really! These two are going to end up together no matter what !

Let the writer tell her story (however shoddy it is) and finish it before reaching conclusions

And yes, this is a lovestory 😳

Anyone who watches it for other purposes, I am sorry you're in for disappointments! Your man's getting the exact same woman you despise

No No I was pulling Innu leg here!

Kumu and Innu never leave chance to bring up H scene (compromising position in Kumu words) and they missed it when their baby did it! 🤭

I also was able to catch it because I saw it on big screen , on mobile there are more chances of missing it because you are so invested in their facial expressions!

I dunno whose inputs these are but what the screen play lacks is more than efficiently cover up by this small small nuances ! Not sure if it’s WA or YZ themselves or Siraj or all three but these small small things is what making TB such a beautiful memory!

And you of all see more than what is in on screen , you write as if you peeped into their souls and reading their minds and thoughts! Please don’t be ever sorry! If any we all greatful we have you to make this journey so beautiful along with WA and YZ , your are like fourth wheel in this TB vehicle

No no I did notice it ! Infact hands are the first thing I notice in their scene! The forum felt very chaotic to me yesterday so I didn't bother pointing things I loved ! Just that one scene had to be talked about 😆

Should we feel sorry for them for thinking Khan Saab is being denied 🙅‍♀️ or for Meeru who doesn’t know what hit her hubby, that he is not picking up her isharain!

I left the logic part to TBA, and given up on continuity! This makes TB more enjoyable and bashing both meerab and Murtasim for there wrongs makes life merrier!
