People are saying so many mean things to her , in twitter . But i have read more hateful bashing here in the forum. Can you imagine !
And as a Meerasim shipper , it truly is jarring and hurtful
I love both of them . Murtasim is protected by the writers, he has a big army .. he does no bad . But Meerab needs defending Always.... And it's getting difficult to save her from everyone's hate .

I don't even mind the kaands per se so much. Kabhi kabhar badtameezi ho to woh bhi chalti hai. Even if they had edited out some dialogs or scenes it would have helped make Merub look not as bad without ruining meaning and flow of scene/plot. Some examples are given below.
1. In E31, edit out the line where Anas says to Merub Murtasim loves you very much and Merub says only he knows. This dialog adds no value to anything other than make Merub look like a beetch.
2. In E31, delete the ring part of the meet up between Mariam, Merub and Anas by ending the scene at "risk to lena padega". The ring part adds no value - it only serves to communicate what a dumbass Merub is to think that carrying a ring is indication of serious commitment and love. Haya could have taken a picture of the three of them sitting in a restaurant - that would have been as scandalous. In Haya's scene at the haveli near the pool, they can easily edit out the lines where she is talking to Merub and Mariam about the ring without losing anything.
3. In E30, when Merub meets with Mariam in her room, edit out the line from "agar aisa hai tumhara bahi mujhe se kitni mohabbat karta hoga..." till "khair" This conversational detour by Merub on Murtasim's love (or lack of) adds no value to the scene.
4. In E30, cut out the phone convo Merub had with Saba/Rohail on the morning after the jumping incident. Kya purpose tha iss call ka. We know Rohail is crazy.
5. In E28, in Rohail's apartment, so many lines could have been edited out for a crisper scene without losing any meaning but making Merub look less shady. For instance,
- Edit out abhi from "the line abhi chodo mujhe"
- Edit out lines starting from "kaise nikloon main" till before "woh mera shohar hai...mera rishta mazboot hota ja raha hai".
- Once Merub says "main uske nikah main hoon woh mera shohar hai", go straight to Murtasim ringing the doorbell and cut in-between lines.
- In Rohail's WB room, cut all lines starting from "tum shayad mujhe apna dost samjhti ho" and jump straight to Merub shaking her head and running out of the door.
6. In E28, edit out the scene when Merub shrugs off Murtasim's hand outside Rohail's building and sits in the car. The scene before we saw Murtasim leave Rohail's apt with Merub in tow - this scene added no value other than tell us Merub is dheet.
7. In E26, edit out the Rohail call where Merub says main tum se abhi iss tarah nahi mil sakti. We know Rohail has a WB and is crazy and has already told Merub in the restaurant how he feels about her. This scene adds no value other than look Merub shady.
Basically side characters ka role aur screen time expand karne main Merub ki mitti paleed kardi. These simple edits could have at least made Merub look less bad than she is now.
