Aaj ka episode was also good in terms of plot progression - dev realizes the depth of the s**t he is in. HP is in deeper s**t. Priya is a complete nut job - unless she is playing a double game - but I don’t think she is.
quick update -
Satya continues to motivate abhi saying this is not the time to give up and cry. Now is the time to fix things. It felt good to see satya being motherly/and giving good advice to abhi for a change.
Hamla are talking to Chacha and chachi and are like we need to help vidhi. They are our family - we’ll sell this house to you - give us the market price.
Chachi (displaying all of our collective emotions) laughs at him and says he’s mad if he thinks she will take this house. Why will they buy a house he’s already mortgaged to borrow money from Vijay. The whole mohalla knows he’s done that. HP and bims are completely blindsided. Chacha is stunned as well - chachi leaves and takes chacha along with her. Bims is like what is she talking about - then remembers the papers she signed. Hamla are in absolute shock.
Kanika comes to see dev and she is extremely apologetic. She tells dev the complete truth. Dev is just stunned that there was this level of duplicity going on right under nose and he was none the wiser. Satya, abhi are just speechless. Priya the genius thinks that Kanika dint do right by telling Amba’s plan to them, she has to tell Amba.
The lawyer comes and tells them that there is pretty much nothing they can do. They were careful enough only to buy the shares that raichands owned so that they loose the majority. Unless they get video or written proof, there is very little they can do.
Dev is in his room and is thinking about what the lawyer said, he thinks of chithras shares and tells vidhi they can ask chithra for her shares. Vidhi tries to tell him not to get his hopes up - that she is after all living with Amba.but dev is like atleast his sister knows the difference between right and wrong.
Later in the night/next day priya calls Amba and tells everything. She tells her that she will keep informing her, all Amba needs to do is take care of her needs. Amba instigated Yogesh against Kanika saying that she is ready to testify against them.
Vidhi brings dev breakfast and dev is like he doesn’t want to eat. Both of them get news reports about how dev was ousted by Amba as revenge for his dumping her.
I can forgive everything - but the news caster called yogu - shrikhandi - I can’t forgive that. Shrikand ne kya bigada re tumhari?
Chithra calls and asks to meet dev. Dev and vidhi are hopeful when they go. Chithra is literally shaking out of fear and is like she is sorry this happened. She has no words. Dev is like she shouldn’t apologize and asks for the shares - he says he will give it back but to regain control he needs to borrow them for now. Chithra is like she can’t give those shares coz Amba took them. She is literally a prisoner in their house and both Vikram and Amba don’t let her out of their sight. She lied saying she’s going to the gynaec that’s why she was able to come. She says no matter what she does, Amba knows first. (Think dev think!)
She gets a call and freaks out and leaves.
Dev and vidhi are shocked - dev is like getting chithra out of there takes priority over the company.
Precap - hamla and Vijay - Vijay being the absolute creep he is says you got vidhi married to a guy twice her age. Why don’t you get Seema married to me. HP loses his cool. Seema is eavesdropping and is crying.
