When has #1 actress like say Deepika, Alia or Katrina worked with Kartik types?

The way Rani worked with Abhishek?

IMO Acting school is optional. All those acting classes in America hasn't helped our current lot much. All of them say essentially the same thing about choosing an animal for their character. And they don't seem to have any exposure to Bollywood's best films from the 50s to early 60s. Much less about World Cinema which Nawaz and Pankaj speak about.

But what's necessary is working consistently to gain experience. So many great actors came across wooden in their first few films. Go the Akshay way and do 5-6 films a year. A Janhvi shouldn't have films centered around her just now. Do a Parineeti in Ladies vs Ricky Behl or Poo in K3G. Supporting roles and arm candy which have some significance. You won't get the accolades. But noted. You also won't get scrutinized and written off for your initial poor performances. And you'll get experience working with great directors and actors.

Just now When he worked with Krithi Sanon right after she won filmfare award. If that didn’t raise the stock then perhaps these individuals aren’t that caliber

The career graphs of today's actors is vastly different from previous generations actors. Even a star kid like Hrithik played 3rd fiddle in K3G and worked with a senior / popular star like Sanju in Mission Kashmir.

This misplaced chase for 'good scripts and diverse roles' early in the careers can actually lead to your downfall. Actors are so scared to be typecast these days. They don't realise that being typecast is actually a great way to increase your fan base. Instead of being over exposed on social media, get over exposed by your movies - ride along on the superstardom of your seniors instead of trying to compete with them.

Probably why a non actor like Tiger is able to deliver hits with his same old action movies while a million times better actor Ranveer struggles to put 2-3 back to back Hits together.

Kriti is NO BO force at all. Never on same level as Rani was in 2005 when she worked with Abhishek.

Is Katrina still on that level ? She just gave a flop in that ghost movie. Would it matter if she did a movie with Karthik ?

People say Sara/Ananya/Jhanvi are over privileged and get all these big things without earning it. Karthik worked with two of them. Following the same logic if he gets to work with them isn’t that considered big ?

Filmfare award given to her was shit as she sucked in the movie & used aggressive PR to paint herself as a struggler & good actress ( Dinesh Vijan & Sajid Nadiadwala are laughing in corner, btw)

Kartik needs to up his level by working with A listers like Alia, Shraddha, DP, etc. He should stop working with wannabe Sanon
