Finding some similarities with IPKKND S1

(1) MMS Leak :

Arnav Singh Raizada aka ASR in IPK1 had leaked Khushi's MMS of their first meet.

Here, in LJG the shower slip was filmed by Nidhi (humari Cinderella FL ki behen number 2), and Nidhi is the initial sharer across the Dhoopar and Kulkarni households. But later it was Meena Mamiji who leaked it across the media after buying it from Sulochana Mami, who previously blackmailed the Dhoopar's with the same and without Ishani's knowledge.

(2) Differently Abled Parallel Lead:

Arnav's elder sister Anjali was infected with Polio and walked with a limp, her legs were never shown.

Pooja, Ishani's only good adoptive sibling in the Kulkarni household, lost her leg while trying to save Ishani from being run over by a car at a young age.

(3) Ladkewale Mamiji :

Drame ki dukan ! Unlike Manorama Raizada (Arnav's mami), who had a funny ingredient and what not really negative, this one's toxic AF, both her and her husband are after Dhoopar property.

However, the similarities include:

Manorama Mamiji had called Payal (Khushi's adoptive sister) "Khoon Bhari Taang" (they didn't become mother-in-law, daughter-in-law then) because the latter's feet was bleeding and Akash (Maami's son) simply offered to help her. He did have a crush on Payal much like Yash is crushing on Pooja at the moment.

Meena Mami hone wali toxic mami-saasuma. Saasuma toh yeh sirf Randeep jiju ka hi hai ! I hate to wish bad but I really doubt if Meena Mami will ever learn her lesson if the fictional Bhagwan causes something bad to happen to her pregnant daughter, who is a neutral to positive character.

(4) There Mamiji and Buaji, Here Mamiji and Mamiji 🤪:

Call me crazy but Meelochana (Meena + Sulochana) is a ship greater than ShivAni/IshAniket. Both can stoop to an unimaginable low and both are greedy for 💸. I just feel really sad for Pooja, Mr. Kulkarni, Randeep and Dimpi for Meelochana being their mother/mother-in-law

There, in a light hearted situation. Things would light up when "Haire Nandkisore" and "Hello Hi Bye Bye" would come together, but they always came together to bind the leads together unlike the above (but you know what ? Meenochana are secret ShivAni shippers)

(5) Why is Bhuppi Mamu acting like Shyam Jha ?

Shyam was Arnav's jija, not a thorough gentleman like Randeep jija. In LJG universe, IPK universe ke Jija se ek kadam sage, LJG universe mein jija...KA SASUR. He has been playing Luka Chuppi with the IshAni ever since IshAni's kidnapping incident took place while Shyam was playing Luka Chuppi because he didn't want Khushi to know that he had eyes for her (but...he was Arnav's jija !)

Exactly lag ja gale is like a dramatised version of IPKKND.

I disagree with your statement. Every itv show has certain similarities with each other but calling it overdramatic is a bit of a stretch. LJG in comparison to the other itv shows is pretty decent! They don't unnecessarily stretch and sugarcoat lies and suspense. Some drama is required to keep the audiences hooked or people will lose interest.

I haven't watched ipkknd and yes some characters might bear certain similarities but it is not fair to discredit the artists who are working so hard to churn out a quality storyline among a sea of repetitive same old nonsensical stories. Namik and Tanisha are doing a great job and the storyline too is pretty fresh and decent. Ipkknd is available on hotstar always if that's your cup of tea.

I am not discrediting anything...May be the word overdramatised was misinterpreted... It had similarities with IPKKND...Compare to that drama is bit more in it... ...But that doesn't mean LJg was not a Good show...It was pretty good nowadays from other shows... and I am not saying it is dramatic version of IpKknd...The word like had another meaning....Again if my statement was a mistake,I am sorry for it.😔...

It's okay. I too may have overreacted because when it comes to my favourites I sometimes get that way and Namik is my love! He has looks of a Greek God but an even better person at heart and him coming back after so long was such a treat. So I got defensive when it was compared with some other show.. when he had said in the interviews that this show would be different I was skeptical because at the end of the day it's an itv show but he was absolutely correct and I'm loving how they're moving forward with it. Just enough drama and spice to keep it interesting. I appreciate your clarification and would like to apologize too if I came across offensive.

Of course the pace is so good... There was so many cliches but the execution is so fresh....The chemistry between Namik and Tanisha is so awesome...Even with Aniket viewers doesn't had that hate for a third angle...The makers are so smart in that matter....But this production house had a wierd habit of starting with a good note and the viewers will start to love the characters even what was the story and then end up butchering leads...Hope they don't use that formula here too...Shiv Dhoopar was one of the sensible male lead nowadays even with own flaws ...

Ikr! Aniket is such a sweetheart especially when he's behaving like a typical lover boy lost in ishaani's thoughts. I never thought I would love a character that stammers but Namik has portrayed it so amazingly that it is hard not to fall in love with Aniket. I don't know much about the PH so I cannot comment on that but as long as Namik is associated with it I would continue watching.. both Shiv and Aniket stand for what is right even if it means going against family or law (in Aniket's case). I just hope they keep up this pace and not compromise too much on logic for the sake of entertainment.

Agree with you. It is a very entertaining show. I don’t know why I stopped watching it before holi. But I am caught up now. It is also much much better than many other supposedly popular shows on other channels. The writers are not dragging anything. That feels refreshing not to mention the scenes between Shiv-Ishani or Ishant-Aniket, pooja - Yash are really nice and I don’t know about others but I want to watch them on repeat mode. 😄♥️♥️
