I think so too. Also, him saying âusse apne past mein kabhi mudkar na dekhna padeâ and âyou canât find true happiness in your pastâ got me đ
Why is he deciding for her that she isnât truly happy? Kathaâs love for Adi isnât destructive or oppressive for her. Sheâs actually very happy while keeping his memories alive in her and Aaravâs heart. Her fixation isnât a toxic one that she really has to move on for her well being.
Instead, he should have recalled what she said in Lonavla - ârishte banaana chodna nahi chahiyeâ and try to explain that to her. He should also realise that it will be hard for her to term what she shares with Viaan as âloveâ, especially after a very dream like love/married life.
I remember in a show, the MLâs ex came out of coma (after 4 years) just after he fell in love with the FL & she realised that although my life was stuck at one point, his life was moving. Itâs unfair to expect him to wait for me (which btw he did for the longest time).
Similarly Katha will have to realise that her life is still moving. If she has a chance to find love again, she should grab it. But Viaan should not decide that for her!! He can only be a catalyst leading to that realisation.
