Yup i'm liking their comfort level with each other. See when Sai was down when she heard about mission's status all SAtya had to do was sitting next her and she opened up and when it came to Satya the same thing. They didn;t force the conversation it just happened with the flow

I loved the epi for SaiYa , not the stupid V confession.
I'm a bit bummed that Sai was made to look so soft but the situation was made such that she was very emotional, and so I'll let it slide.
I also focused in the good parts that you mentioned.
Its not V but Satya who understands Sai's unsaid wirds, dil ki baat.
Its not V but Satya who has managed to get through to Vinu even if not to convince him that Sai is aai but at least enough to make him cordial again
Its not V but Satya who is being a true partner to her.
I have a feeling that even if they show the shaadi as an arrangement of Satya helping Sai make herself unavailable coz she does not want to be with V- its fine. Coz it'll be 2 adults who share a similar pain coming together voluntarily with FULL disclosure.
Satya knows she has 2 kids and she lives for them. He knows her character now- she is not the one to let go of her self respect or hurt Vinu or P deliberately by reconciling with the man she still has feelings for, her ex husband. It shows Satya who Sai is as a person. She's emotional but not a pushover. She can care for people who wrong her but not enough to accept anything. And Sai knows Satya's cheeriness is a facade hiding his pain.
This equation of 2 people who have contrasting personalities but shared ideals in life will evolve into a beautiful friendship and companionship ♥️
