Katha was abandoned for a drink?

So Katha was basically abandoned by herself at the restaurant table so that her two suitors (former and present) could LEISURELY enjoy a drink and talk about how one has given up wooing her so the next one should try his luck? 🤔

Lol and this is what is being hailed as “great friendship” that is “rising above ITV cliches”?

Ehsan ko prop up karne ke liye they made Viaan abandon Katha to leisurely enjoy a drink with his so called “bhai”? This scene had to have been written by a guy 😆

It was absurd so they wanted to have a drink and leave katha alone there🤔so that katha could go without informing them and viaan then follow her to hospital. I did not have any problem with Ehsan-Viaan's conversation. It was nice and heartfelt conversation but yeah the place they chose for it was absurd. It feels like suddenly director has a scene in mind but some other track is going on. However, he is deciding to just pitch in to that scene somehow. There is a missing sync in screenplay.

To me even more absurd was yuvraaj leaving reet to get his parents who are out for movie. So Garewals just had one car and one driver Yuvraj. It looked quite weird that everyone left reet alone in that state and especially yuvraaj so that Katha can come to rescue.

I wouldn’t have had any problem with the Ehsan Viaan conversation either if it had some flow or build up in the story. Here it’s quite obvious they forced in this scene simply to cater to the demands of the fans who magically want Ehsan to be Viaan’s wingman in helping him woo Katha 🤷‍♀️🙄. For that purpose, they literally made Viaan abandon Katha to go have a drink with Ehsan. Lol the very Katha he is otherwise always dying to talk to 🙄. And people are hailing this disjointed scene simply because they want Ehsan to be Viaan’s BFF magically without resolving what all nonsense he’s done. Instant solutions in a show which otherwise moves at a snail’s pace on everything else 🤷‍♀️😂. I anyways find Ehsan too shifty eyed to trust him now as some genuine well wisher of Viaan no matter how much makers want to push this narrative now.

Can’t stand the Grewals drama so I forwarded all those scenes lol but thanks for the update. Lol so they did contrived narrative there also to show Yuvraj leaving his super pregnant wife by herself in that state after giving her a big shock. Lol it’s really beyond me why this episode is being hailed so much 🤷‍♀️

It looked like the guys took a drink break (ala smoke break) which is common when you are out with non-smoking company and desperate for a puff🤣!! It was obviously inserted randomly cause the director does seem in a hurry to rush through some open ended issues in the show...Ehsaan, EMA etc.

So the whole third angle was blown up with that heart to heart over a peg while the lady in question cooled her heels sitting alone with bread and butter for company…till she dashed off to rescue Reet😆! And the EMA was resolved with breakneck speed as well!! Either they are paying too much heed to the Twitter chatter or the director was bored keeping Ehsaan on the fence for so long 😆! I did like the hospital interaction between Katha and Viaan though 😊

Seems like a case of makers inserting things off of Twitter chatter. Ehsan fangirls are quite vocal on every social media platform so the same director who spent 50 episodes showing Ehsan as an insecure guy doing cheap things to “woo” Katha is now claiming this show has better things to show than love triangles and jealousy 😂😂. Wonder why this “we have better things to show” logic didn’t apply when they themselves initially built up Ehsan as that kind of character. lol when “convictions” change overnight based on what Twitter fangirls say, hard to take these people seriously🤷‍♀️

Ehsan trying to be some love guru to Viaan in Katha’s case after everything he has said and done 😆….yeah I’m sure that’s gonna feel suuuper convincing. Lol his character will feel even more like a spare part than he already is. Dosti dikhaani hai toh dhang se consistently dikhate. This just feels like a sugary facade without any nuance now.

Viaan also doesn’t end up coming out looking good from these scenes where he’s discussing Katha with Ehsan. I found it in poor taste that these guys were laughing over wooing Katha by turns like she’s some prize to win 🙄.

I do hope the makers don't become victims of their own online popularity trap! It would be a shame because the show had such promise to begin with and I still like it. That's why sometimes I feel the era when we could watch a show without the BTS clips, excessive online discussions dissecting and demanding the story and characters to fit into audience perceptions, butchering story and characters for TRPs etc. The story teller had a vision and they followed their own vision from beginning to end. It was like reading a book...the book's contents cannot be altered to suit individual tastes...you like it or you dislike it. But at least the stories were original and not mass media driven.

I think that ship has sailed at this point.....the moment makers start responding to fangirl tweets on Twitter and validating whatever the fangirls are saying, you can see their mind is more on getting validation from fangirls than writing what comes naturally to the story.

I've liked the show too but the social media popularity is definitely a curse for this show given the way social media fangirls think and act.....it's all about reactionary short-sighted demands and token gestures then.

Oh well, they were anyways nearing the danger mark with the 100 episode milestone coming up😆. That usually marks the official downhill slide for most shows😆. Iske baad usually all they have is token gimmicks to get social media validation even if overall narrative is incoherent simply to keep the story going....lol

I was definitely enjoying this show more when I was binge-watching it and had no idea about the way social media was spinning characters like Ehsan😆.....best to watch shows with social media blockout only. LOL the only shows that survive the curse are those that usually have no social media presence where fangirls can twist everything into god knows what.

lol....in the precap i thought these two would get home and play 'I love you - you love me' and confession confession game..😆wonder what they told katha, hum peg maarke aate hain while you decide what you want to eat....or simply just relive my poem while I am away....waise bhi its played every other day...ab toh by heart ho chuka...nothing novel about it now...

Lol i just saw the love confession promo, Viu ne dubara poem bol diya, ....Lets hope it plays out well in the actual scene...

Seriously one of the most rushed things to erase all the crooked thoughts that E was nurturing all this while...haha..

I still have high hopes from Batman Robin, i dont want that to be tainted in any way...

LMAO wait, there's a love confession promo out? With this same poem being narrated AGAIN? 😆......man are these writers experts at killing the charm of anything with over-repetition. The poem left an impression in the realization scene when it first aired but looks like they have no story left so all they do is just play a snippet of that poem in every episode and that is what they think builds the story?😆

But hey, what do we know.....director saab did say they have better things to show than love triangles....turns out he meant the "better things" are daily repeat of peg maarna with this poem playing as voiceover in every epi😆

Batman-Robin ka bhi kachumbar hi karenge now that Viaan is back to listening to his advice from his true lowe of the life Ehsan saab😆
