When they are fighting they are in their element, bright colours they pop out of the screen, this is their comfort zone. When it comes to love they are sombre, this is new for them, they are fading in the background.

This is a biblical connotation

The “right hand” is seen as a place of honor and status throughout the biblical text. When the Bible makes statements that Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of the Father, it is affirming that he has equal status to the Father within the Godhead.

In the left pic she has the place of honour, even though he is rejecting her for marriage.

In the right pic he has the place of honour, even though she is denying he feels divine love for her.

They will hurt each other with words and actions. But in their hearts and souls they will never become each others undoing despite what trials they face, they will suffer and ultimately persevere together.

First pic -In that scene, the dresser was on right side of room and sofa was on left side , so he on pretext of self admiring himself was making mental calculations of her figure and how well she will fit in his arms walks to middle of room and she stirring tea wondering if she shld pour it on his hands , head and ahem ahem makes wise choice of hitting his fragile ego walks to middle of room!
