We have strong main leads, a girl who has suffered, whose life got changed but still she is confident, and a guy who has to handle all the responsibilities, who has to deal with that girl who initially hates him. They could be best characters, if they would have written well.

And them growing individually and together by helping each other in seeing the things differently. Murtasim helping her to see his love with simple and effective conversations and Meerab slowly trusting him. Meerab making him understand about the freedom a person and also making him understand the importance of freedom for a girl. We needed to see the progression of the relationship.

At this point I would just watch the show to see these two together in a frame because I feel they are never romancing again post TB

'freedom' is something this show will never address convincingly about when it comes to Meerab. They do not even let her talk to anyone without putting her in a dubious light

Their relationship is progressing but it isn't in the most ideal way and hence it will not stand huge blows

They will give in to the physical tension sooner or later but they need distance to contemplate on their relationship

Keep them apart, they will either spiral back to each other immediately or retract in a cocoon. Retracting would be better at this point

I initially thought this was what they'd go for. In ZGH both zaroon and kashaf had unique flaws and takes. Both were sometimes wrong and right either at the same time or in different situations.

I hoped TB would explore that grey area because neither the "feudal" nor the other idealistic "will do no wrong to my enemy/an abuser or forgive them" take is correct. I thought meerab and murtasim would meet halfways. I'm thinking of the black eyed peas song 😁.

They lost so much time in haya's monologues. That time could have been used for merasim to just talk. Talk about their perspectives, experiences, expectations and their fears. They could go to the beach, to the village, to muree, to dine out. Kuch bhi. And just communicate. But no behayas badzuban was mure important 😭

Now Maryam is OTT along with meerab and murtasim. She was consistent with her character arc but now she's into the cartoon villian. And that blue blood coming out if rohails 🐽 (yes, I used a piggy nose 😉) was just the cake on top. Matlab what in the circus is this?

Am i going to continue watching, YES

Am i going to analyse everything like before, MAYBE NOT..

I said it earlier, TB had it all. it was a complete package.. But they were not able to do justice to the actual story. Maybe this is all part of a bigger picture and we are not able to understand.. 🤷‍♀️
