TB- a land of missed opportunity is an essay demanding to be written. What a great premise, two great leads and the crackling chemistry between Yumhaj. Do you even realize what TB could have been on the hands of a better writer- if the leads’ were given fleshed out characters, it plotlines actually made sense, if Murtu was not fleshed out as the savior but an alpha male madly in love, of Meerab was actually intelligent and strong lead with a genuine direction and consistency, if instead of over the top villains we explored the real conflict- the conflict between the modern and the feudal, the traditions and logic, the conservative vs liberal, if instead of going in loops, the love story actually had a graph

I could go on and on…

This could have been another ZGH- a classic.

I agree with this!!! They had a good and strong story!!! This could have been EPIC and thats what makes us really sad. This could have been so much more than what it is currently!!!

Now its a missed opportunity in the hands of mediocre writing and chopping editing with overbearing traits of leads and stupid but maximum screenspace eating villians with real issues saying Hi in the background.

What can be a masterpiece become a joke.

They had beautiful conflicting plot with beautiful characters,with experience actors and sizzling chemistry but they couldn't make use of it.

They had so much to explore some you mentioned,and more is Murtasim's past......

It has so much potential, usually we get bore after 20 episodes and her despite of having weak writing, we are still engaged to this drama, the pace and twist turns are actually interesting but the loopholes and inconsistency in character, is the reason of TB not being a perfect drama.

I initially thought this was what they'd go for. In ZGH both zaroon and kashaf had unique flaws and takes. Both were sometimes wrong and right either at the same time or in different situations.

I hoped TB would explore that grey area because neither the "feudal" nor the other idealistic "will do no wrong to my enemy/an abuser or forgive them" take is correct. I thought meerab and murtasim would meet halfways. I'm thinking of the black eyed peas song 😁.

They lost so much time in haya's monologues. That time could have been used for merasim to just talk. Talk about their perspectives, experiences, expectations and their fears. They could go to the beach, to the village, to muree, to dine out. Kuch bhi. And just communicate. But no behayas badzuban was mure important 😭

Now Maryam is OTT along with meerab and murtasim. She was consistent with her character arc but now she's into the cartoon villian. And that blue blood coming out if rohails 🐽 (yes, I used a piggy nose 😉) was just the cake on top. Matlab what in the circus is this?

We have strong main leads, a girl who has suffered, whose life got changed but still she is confident, and a guy who has to handle all the responsibilities, who has to deal with that girl who initially hates him. They could be best characters, if they would have written well.
