No BIL cant see SIL. FIL is like your own father, DIL doesn't need to wear hijab. Same thing for MIL and son-in-law. In an event of death or divorce FIL-DIL and MIL-SIL remain what is called "muhrim" never to marry relationships. Even if they get remarried to someone else, this pair still remain muhrim.

Ppl who are justifying portrayal of bigamy in their favorite show by sighting aberrant cases, will you agree to this if you were in similar predicament?

Bigamy happens in mostly super rich family where wives chose to remain in the relationship only because they would be worse off it they opt out of marriage.

Just look at Arjun Kapoor he hates his father and his mother died in obscurity. Did boney take her permission before marrying sridevi, or did Dharmendra take permission of his first wife before marrying hema? No both of them remained in the namesake relationship only and only for the better future of their kids.

Just because bigamy happens does not make it appropriate. It defeats the purpose of an institution like marriage if one can have multiple legal partners at the same time.
