The somewhat convenient deus-ex-machina thingy to get Dhruv in aside, I thought the writers did quite well with the words that Lalita's character used today.

Her communication was pretty clear- saying that Susheela's mother asked her to have a word, and adding that she wasn't taking anything back from Susheela at all.

What's the age gap between Dhruv and Jai? They're not twins I think, so probably a year or so apart.

I really admire the heart of taiji..Warna koi bhi hota na toh abhi uss waqt bol deta sushilee ko yeh mat bhulo ki dhruv is really my son and not yours...If even after this sushilee is ungratefull then nothing can justify her acts

I wonder if Jai is inherently bitter or was there some discrimination in their childhood?

Obviously, Susheela kept Dhruv at the center of her world, making him her reason for living. But since Taiji couldn't show her affection and love and haq as openly to Dhruv as she could for Jai, perhaps she at times, put Dhruv on priority.

Absolutely. What Taai Ji did and is doing is incredibly admirable.

This also explains Susheela's deep-rooted insecurities. Her possessiveness seemed OTT to me until today but I think it makes sense now. It is because Dhruv is not her own son, she is terrified of losing him even more. This must be in the back of her mind... always... what if he goes back to his real mother? What if he just... goes away... from her? Why she can't stand Tara because she believes that she'll take him away from her.

Still doesn't justify a lot of things but at least, we got to see where she is coming from.

Susheela said some dialogue about the bags yesterday- Dhruv got one every year, but the rest made do with the same for all years.

You could probably extrapolate it to unintended childhood jealousy which continued into adulthood because the character (of Jai) didn't seem to mature.

I wonder ,if jai or any family member will inform dhruv how tara cured him. This should ring a bell in dhruv minds that tara is in deed from 17th centuary

but still you know this much insecurity ?i mean she knows dhruv will never go against her..Thoda toh trust karna padta hai na..even if tara ya koi bhi ladki aajaye..She should have confidence on her up bringing ki nai nahi mera beta ,mujeh se bina puche bina kuch nabi karega ya phir mere values ke khilaaf nahi jaayega..I know she things like her husband her beta will go one day..But she should also keep in mind na ki nahi mujeh itna vishwas rakhna hoga apne bete pe..And now again in precape-that lady cannot be changed unless her own husband comes back clarifies things..Whhich i guess uska husband yaani dhruv ke papa 17th vi sadi ki jail mast susre jailor ko 21st sadi ka sabtate honge, would be be enjoying his lamba wala vacation away from sushilee.

I sometimes wonder if Susheela was always like this and that's the reason why her husband left to escape from her over possessiveness.

Though mere mind mei ek vichitra vichaar aaya hai ki what if that Panditji is Susheela 's husband. The house doesn't seem to have his photo. What if he returned via the time machine and that's why knows about the Navrang Van. He may have thought that it's better to take sanyas and become a pandit than deal with Susheela.🤪

Analysis!

Today's episode was good! 👏

I loved the way Taiji explained her emotions and point of view and will to Susheela! The words, the way she emphasized that Dhruv is her son, and the way she then left everything for her to decide.

'Agar Dhruv par adhikaar jamaana chahte, na, toh darwaaza kholte aur seedhe use ghar ke andar le aate. Par naayi! Agar Dhruv iss ghar mein aayega, toh tumhaari anumati se. Nahi toh naaye.'

It did make me think though... if all those years ago, Taiji hadn't given Dhruv away to Susheela, would it have ultimately been better for them? At the time, she may have been depressed but giving Dhruv to her to give her a reason to live... that's just setting up the unhealthy attachment that we saw.
And does the kids know about this?

That little smile when Tara said 'vachan se nahi palat sakte', that screamed- 'Yeh kuchh aur hi hai.' ❤️

Jai... bhai, kitna khudgarz hai yeh. 'Doosron ki wajah se apni neend kyun kharaab karni hai?' Seriously?

I wonder if that door opening was symbolic. Ayesha paving the way for Tara to enter in Dhruv's life for the sake of him. And even her helping Tara when she was trying to help Dhruv.

Or even the place that the family has put for Susheela is being overtaken by Tara and all that for Dhruv's well being.

Idk. I can't articulate it all that well, but I hope you get the vibe.

Bhai, yeh Jai!! Chodho. Bas... chodho. Maine kuchh thappad wagera maar aana, toh chodh hi do.

You know what would be awesome? Ayesha pretending to hate Tara because duh, but in reality, she actually likes her since she's good for him, and that makes her resent her enough that she never really shows her liking too much.

So, whenever Tara is in any problem, Ayesha is there to help her when Dhruv can't, if only for the sake of his happiness.
