Do you support outsiders as viewers? - Page 2

I watch content if it entertains me even if it’s stupid good. I don’t watch my fav actors’ shows and movie either if they don’t entertain me. I need my entertainment. We became a fan of for the work they did. So what’s the point of watching something if it’s boring and we can’t enjoy? As for SSR controversy, I have stopped watched some actors’ work based on their insensitivity during SSR’s death time and the way they mocked fans or outsiders. I have better content from other actors and/or other countries I can watch and don’t need to watch those actors’ work. Besides BW has become very boring. I don’t look forward to it except SRK/Salman’s good movies.

I only watch what interests me. Doesn’t matter insider or outsider.

but there are also many movies that interest me due to their trailer, hype or even the director… and the thing is that such movies are almost always given to insiders…

Eg I really like sanya malhotra but when she’s offered a movie like hit here her role is minuscule and there isn’t much to do. She can’t do a lot with a role like that… while “actresses” like jhanvi/ananya are given solo movies or movies with big banners that interest people…

Now even on OTT.. such insiders are being given whole webseries as lead…

There is only so much an outsider can do when the best scripts and roles are gone first to insiders and they have to pick from the “leftovers”

Don’t really care as long as someone is good and talented. I care more about content. Like BI said, film should be entertaining at the end of the day, so at least we can feel like our hard earned money hasn’t gone to waste.

For years now i have stopped watching movie which has no story. I love watching movies, shows which have good story, actors doing their job nicely and a nice message to take. Recently i have watched gulmohar, uchaai, kanjoos makhhichoos. I love Bengali movies as well as malyalam/kannada/Tamil/Telugu movie if it has a nice story to tell. Doesn't matter who the actors actresses are. My quench is for a good movie.

Forgot to mention about kdramas and Pakistani shows too.

I am so addicted to Pakistani shows.......I am watching 3 of them right now...😆....which ones are you watching?

Nepo kids get the best scripts and roles offered to them. Audience will judge by the entire movie unfortunately. Tripti, Sanya, Mrunal are yet to land a role like Gunjan Saxena or a Atrangi re. That makes a huge difference.

I don't support any celebrity 😆 But I watch whatever is really good - insider, outsider, doesn't matter!

Ofcourse! If they are talented and good looking then why not?

Juhi, Madhuri and many other successful actors have been outsiders. Though now they have made it very difficult for outsiders to get a footing in the industry. Leading roles (especially of heroes) are reserved for insiders.

It's time they start making low budget good movies with talented outsiders.
