Like can you imagine what your spouse would feel if he/she gets to know that accepting the marriage is like accepting failure in life for you or thats how you sees it!!!!

Let's keep aside that rohail is physcho. But if we had a dream in our college life, had talks about it with our friends, one day our life turns upside down, we r forced to marry. If we accept that marriage, how will we look infront of our friends.

If we love our spouse, we will defend that forced marriage too.

Same has to happen with meerab. She has to realise her love. Once she realises her love, she herself will feel her forced marriage is a blessing to her.

One thing is sure, she won't accept murtasim just because he loved her. She will accept him because she loves him.

If meerab sees her marriage as failure post confessing her love then that is unfair to murtasim, but she will realise her marriage is a blessing that's why she will give herself to murtasim our of love and trust not because of obligation.

Also like someone said, when she said Yes to marriage wasn’t it like she wanted his protection and shelter, so she was always thought he will get fed up of waiting and let her off ! But again isn’t it like they can marry multiple women in their culture so I never understood the logic ! As even if he wants to move he will marry someone and still keep her there !

But I'm trying to say...yeh real life mei hotey hei ...one can never be completely happy with that particular thing for which, once this kinda doubts or thoughts had came in their head !

i understand what you mean.. but the whole plot of this story is how she was initial on a revenge mode but slowly but surely she will fall in love. Thats the whole plot. Its like the saying, sometimes what we want is not what we really need and Allah is the best of planner.

Thats all this is about. Its her journey towards him!

We see her struggles to accept him. She wants to accept it but at the same time she is always reminded of all the bad things that has happened to her. Murtasim seems to understand her because he himself had a “similar” past i believe.

this needs to change!!! Im muslim and yes these things used to happed but in today’s day and age i dont knw anyone with two wives!! Also there are rules to it!! And always cousin marriages!!

Yes Islamic law permits a man to marry 4 times, but it has it's own set of rules to protect the women's rights..

Eg the wife should consent to the man to bring a new wife..
