she saw him staring at her and realized immediately that he was attracted to her and refused to give her hand/make physical contact. It’s actually crazy when you think about it because at the core of it she too realizes her hand-written contract means nothing and is actually worried he will impose himself on her physically (yikes). But she can’t be blamed for thinking so because he was the same guy who slapped her.
