Just caught up on the last few episodes. My understanding is that they are showing a very simple concept with very bad writing.
Abhi is a top of the field heart surgeon, and we have seen him have a lot of kids as his patients, so it's possible he specializes in pediatric heart surgery, and there may actually be very few such doctors in India. I am not surprised that no one else is willing to operate cause it might be a very dangerous procedure and again for the plot point makes sense that Abhi is the only capable one. Although his mentor is his uncle so, shouldn't his uncle also be able to do the surgery?
From Nav's POV, he has always maintained that Abhi and Abhir need to know, and he shouldn't stand in the way of their relationship. Although why he would think that after Abhi said all those things about his wife is beyond me, but accha aadmi. So now that Abhi has a heart issue, ofc he thinks this is the hand of destiny trying to bring father and son together. We know its bad writing but what to do.
The first Udaipur trip happened for exactly three reasons :
1. Everyone got to know that Ak-Abhi still have feelings for each other
2. Both Ak-Abhi got a reality check and the push to actually move on
3. Ak-Abhi moved on, so the only reason for Ak to come back was Abhir's health.
Any bond that Ak-Abhi will have after this will be based on Abhir, which is the complete opposite of what I wanted. But the bond between Ak-Nav is also based on Abhir, so either way, we get a marriage of compromise.
What I don't understand is how they can show Manjari debating whether her son's happiness is more important than a child's life. Or Mahima being a doctor saying why does Abhi have to be the doctor treating? Like Nav got this from the very beginning, ofc you would trust someone you know who also cares about your child as the person to treat him. The other doctor was so rude in the beginning like he just didn't care, but for Abhi, this would be important just cause this is a child he knows and has interacted with. More importantly, there is a time constraint. How is this the time to worry about all the other drama? Why does everyone in birla house think Ak orchestrated her child's illness to "steal" Abhi's happiness?
Of course, the precap is just a dream, but I wished they at least had Abhi change his outfit for the dream. The surgery will likely happen first, and Abhir will have a long recovery this time. Arohi or Manjari will figure out Abhir's paternity first and try to hide it from Abhi, and eventually, when Abhi figures out, he will be sad first and angry after. From Ak's perspective, she thinks he will just be mad and demand his son back, but Abhi now understands the complexities of parenthood and especially being a stepfather, so hopefully, that will have an impact.
