my MT is more of a mix of mostly Tamil we just conjugate the verbs a little differently.My mom is the only one in my family who can read and write in kannada along with one of my brothers in law. Sad fact 😭
But my husband speaks fluent Tamil and Kannada and can read and write both languages.

Nobody watches TV serials at my home, this has been the norm since my childhood ...my dadi used to but she passed away long back, so tabse anything but ITV shows

my husband's nephew recently moved to melbourne and I know he reached out to some indian community social media page and through that was able to find a really nice rental place for cheap too. He was lucky, but wouldnt hurt to give it a go if a similar one exits in Brisbane, Happy to find out where he found it and PM the name/link if you are interested.
