She is a fabulous cook by the way. Even her children though they have lived away after the 12 th grade in the USand UK are fussy vegetarians. They suffered in the hostels.

Vindaloo sabji hai. I found them in most British Indian restaurants.

I had a fracture in school days...a nasty cast and screw was put in & removed later 😅

Doctor clearly told my parents to add egg to my diet for few months....that's where it started for long 😆

Australia isnt that bad any more. I am vegetarian by birth too and have remained one.

Brisbane has a lot of indians now, you should be able to find plenty of indian groceries there. FYI I am in sydney. Which part of india are you from, I am sure there are many indian associations there, If you get in touch with them they will help with some very useful information
