Harleen and Nehmat are not related by blood, nor did they grow up together. For Harleen, initially Nehmat was Advait's wife; later she discovered that Nehmat is Ekam's lover and his happiness. So it was mainly due to Ekam that Harleen embraced Nehmat. Hence, the Harleen-Nehmat bond cannot be compared to a sibling relationship. The only connection Harleen and Nehmat share is that they both have feelings for the same person.

Therefore, I suppose there isn't really a big problem with the Ekleen relationship.

I know that they are not biologically related, but Nehmat will always be Fatejo's daughter. It's obvious by the way they are comparing her with Tejo. Harleen is Jasmine's daughter, and in serials, they would still be like sisters even though they are not related by blood. Also, I don't think that they showed consummation for no reason.
