SRK and Ranveer have worked with Pankaj Tripathi in Dilwale and 83. Akshay worked with Ashutosh Rana in Sangharsh, Jaanwar etc. Rana was there in Ghulam but not with Aamir.

SRK with with Manoj in Veer zaara.

Salman, Akki, SRK etc have worked with way more artistes and filmmakers than Aamir who chooses smaller or flop or new or less known lot.

The pattern of working with less known artistes and heroines having less to no roles in AK films since Lagaan and scripts centering around him, where heroine is not required or has less to do.

One can say Aamir does not avoid more charismatic actors but that is not true. Aamir has seen it how he flopped or got overshadowed when he worked with more charismatic actors like Madhuri, Rajinikanth, Salman etc.

He knows he never had personality to look suitable in front of Amrish Puri who had a booming voice and broad frame.

I think you are taking what might be coincidence or genuine casting decisions and making it about Aamir and his alleged insecurities.

There’s absolutely no evidence to suggest that Aamir deliberately chose not to work with these actors. AK Production might be one of the few production houses that holds honest to goodness auditions. Was Sakshi Tanwar a bad fit as his wife in Dangal? Was Manav Vij a bad fit as Muhammad Bhai in LSC? Was Gracy Singh a bad fit as Gauri in Lagan?

Aamir chooses talented actors but ones who have no chance to overshadow him or are having solid screen presence.

Sakshi, Gracy were TV actors. They hardly had much roles.

All girls in Dangal are new. Aamir is most famous face in any AKP film.

SRK is the most famous face in any Red Chillies movie. Salman is the most famous face in any SKP movies. That’s the nature of how these things work. I still disagree with your premise that he does this out of some insecurity or he doesn’t want to be overshadowed.

The audience at the theatre just did not accept her and still don’t

Let her come with a solo heroine centric film and the film won’t do even 10 cr ,, kuttey is a good example :)

Aamir is 5-5 , Tabu is 5-7(maybe she looks taller as she is skinny). .they might have looked fine if paired.

I would totally disagree with that about Tabu. She is the best of 90s actresses by a long shot.

Still SRK and Salman have had guts to work with big stars like Amitabh, big heroines like Ash, Deepika, Sush at their peak and big villains like Amrish Puri.

Unlike Aamir who never worked with Amrish Puri as he knew he would be overshadowed by him.

Aamir never worked with Ash or Sush at their peak in 90s.

Tabu didn’t do movies with any of the Khans.
