If you don’t want politics over religion, religion based laws aren’t allowed. State and religion needs to be separated. Laws can never discriminate between citizens.

And special marriage laws are only for men. Where is women’s equality?

There may be politicians who think likewise, who enter politics with the wish of change regarding what SRK says...but the leading ones in India use religion, communalism, films and celebrities to distract from their failures to be there FOR THE PEOPLE and not against them.

True, but here the thing is that they're perfectly aware of the esteemed place that different religions hold for distinct communities, and they conveniently use that to divide and rule
