Sanam and Fawad's webseries Barzakh got an award I read. So it released in international platform. Read this:

Pakistan web series Barzakh, directed by filmmaker Asim Abbasi and starring Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed had its world premiere at UGC Ciné Cité on Saturday last week as part of this year's Series Mania Festival in France.

The premiere was attended by writer and director Abbasi, actors Saeed and Franco Giusti, producer Shailja Kejriwal and production designer Aarij Hashimi.

Barzakh, the only selection from South Asia at this year's film festival, premiered as part of the International Panorama line-up, a 12-title competitive section.

Did it win award or just got selected for the festival?

It is only been screened at this festival and is not released on any platform and not accessible for general public. It's a Zee5 production and it will stream on zee5 unless they sell it to some other production.

What does barzakh means?

But, as it is web series, I don't know in which decade they will release.. Yeahh, Zee5 has some selected some greatest talents and beautiful pairings like Wahaj - Sajal, Bilal - Sarah and Sanam - Fawad...

Manifesting atleast this should be drama not web series..

If it's produced by zee5 it's gonna be a webseries. The only advantage is we can binge watch it instead of waiting every week for just one episode.

Zee5 puts money on good pak dramas and it also looks like they give way more creative freedom to the makers. This one is also directed by kasif nizar. So the chances of it being good is very high. But the problem is it takes ages to be released. It's been more than 3 yrs since abdullapur ka devdas finished shooting.

Don't know why they take so much time to release pak content.

I don't know if it won anything. But it is a honor ,na? Any way. At least we know it is ready for release. 😃
