Punar Vivah is such a great story about falling in love again; I love Satya as the new ML in Ghum or Shiv as Anandi's hero or Anuj as Anu's new love. I always felt Abhimanyu supported akshara when it is convenient to him, like his support to Akshara on few aspects would piss off his dad or his Aunt. And their love story is like maggi noodles, 2 mins mein pak gaya, par atleast maggi khane keliye acha hai par idhar their love story doesn’t have any proper moments. Half of their moments are in their dreams but they haven’t really gone through the lows together unlike Abhinav and Akshara.

Akshara and Abhinav whatever is their relationship have gone through difficulties together for 6+ years and still have the mutual love and respect for each other. Abhinav’s greatness is not about helping pregnant women but it was what he said to Abhi that he would do whatever Akshara wishes to and if she wishes to stay with Abhi he will move away as well. He is not 1% entitled towards Akshara and that truly makes him precious. Tomorrow Akshara would say let’s just stay besties, he would respect that and would never push her for more than that.

Abhi has done a lot of mistakes, but people seem to be forgetting that he has actually helped Akshu a lot too. The first time she ever stood up for herself was because of him, he tried to give her a musical therapy department, wanted to put her life over that of his kids, tried to get her music career going at home itself, his love actually made her open her mouth against Arohi herself. He degraded himself in front of Arohi to protect Akshu's emotions. None of that is toxic. He was wrong on the day of the death - but grief is a f*cked up emotion. Losing your kids, and a brother who you considered your child is not an easy thing. Especially for someone who comes from a broken family in the first place. Top it off with a wailing mother who spews nonsense, he made mistakes - he's been suffering to six years.

I don't understand why people think that Abhinav has been the only supportive force for Akshara so far. Abhi has done a lot for Akshu and people are quick to forget all his good deeds because of his mistakes.

I don't know how one mistake makes AbhiRa toxic and Abhinav becomes the God.

Maan liya grief is a f**ckd up emotion. It was a spur of a moment thing ye bhi Maan liya..but isn't it true that he didn't feel anything for her in these 6 years ? There was no yearning no memory of her ? For the love he claimed to be soulful and undying ? Like , thrice ..no four times he threatened to leave her whenever she f*cked up..once before marriage three times after ..in this , once he presented her the divorce papers and divorced her finally in the next. He doesn't wanna talk, he doesn't wanna think, he doesn't wanna reflect , all he wants is to punish akshu . There is no head or tail to what he does , that's how he's written.

Also, his grief is kinda reserved for akshu alone ..he takes it all out on her while his family gets a free pass ..he couldnt answer her question, if he was akshu who died that day will he abandon Neil? If it was manjari who did this mistake instead of akshu will he abandon her ?

it works well for him considering Akshara’s childhood insecurity and need to pander to people. She is timid, sometimes stupid and easy to influence. He was like this even before their marriage as well. It’s just that his influencing her to take decisions on her own(not for arohi/others) worked in his benefit.

As for who wants him. It depends on when the viewers started watching.

Most legacy viewers, i.e, me, want him gone yesterday. YRKKH is never big on EMAs/third angles so I'm guessing the writers have changed. The day Akshu moves on with Abhinav emotionally - the show will lose a lot of viewers who watch it for the main couple. This show is not like Ghum or Bhagyas. At least it'll lose me and the five-ten nurses who work with me and watch it during their night duty. 🤣

For people who started watching from this season - want him gone yesterday because the story is now stagnant. If the story is about Sharmas and Birlas separately, most of them don't want to watch. A lot of viewers started watching for the AbhiRa shown in the promos.

Most people who advocate for Abhinav-Akshara are new on the forum (not all but most IDs are recently made) or are feminists who want Akshu to move on. Or didn't like Abhimanyu/Akshara from the beginning. Most old people are the same as the ones who hated them from the first confession.

Nothing wrong in that, but I, for one, love a groveling hero if he can be redeemed. For eg - Arjun from Rajjo, Abhi from here, Ranbir from KKB, Shiva from PS, Angad from TMD - I would love the OG couple to get back if there is proper redemption. On the other hand Vanraj from Anu, Virat from Ghum, Aditya from Imlie - a huge nope.

I think HC is going on with the track because he gets to act so much. Desperation, guilt, trauma, love all of that. Makes his role meaty. PR also gets to do some fierce bhashan-baaji and lawyer-giri. While JS has an acha aadmi character, his glorification just means that the actual leads get to act a more versatile role. We can roll our eyes and wait for his mandir to be made and Abhinav-Akshara to sleep together, so that the story can just move forward.

Well,the end game will most probably be Abhira,since DPK have spent so much money in building their romance, the grand gestures,grand set,a big fanbase.

But the way things are going, it seems difficult on them reuniting without butchering their characters.
