MIND BLOWN..........

Good evening/morning girls !!!!! I hope all of you are well.

I watched all 4 episodes in one go and they just blew my mind. I totally loved how the investigation evolved👍🏼. I know it is totally wrong if this were to happen in the real world, but is needed in this drama world😃

Katha should never have had a seat on that committee in the real world. She has a major, major conflict and should have recluded herself from heading the committee. But, for the story to progress, she needs to be smack in the middle of all the drama, so she faces her doubts face on, process her trauma and move on, rather than totally sweeping everything under the rug👍🏼Aditi is fantabulous as Katha who on a bad impulse, slipped the question of " didn't you ever......." and then petrified of the consequences and answers.

A facet of Katha's concern for Viaan's emotional state came to the fore with her questioning and stating to Teji, how she had brutally decimated her son ever since his father left him. Will Teji warm up to Katha as well now?

I have no idea why the writer used this internal investigation interchangeably with a " trial". That committee showed explicit bias as they spoke to Viaan, sarcastic in their comments, almost to the point to being downright rude😡 They needed to be civil to both parties as they investigated, not throw smart alecky comments and take sides👎🏼 They all acted as if they are all a bench of Supreme court judges😡

I wish they keep Ehsan as a true friend. Now, he got the post of the CEO, I don't want any nastiness please. If the writers choose to break this bond, I won't forgive them😒 That is so not required.

Loved the calmness of Viaan, he had worked out all of his demons and is a shant aatma🥱Fearless and ready to face the consequences. Shalzie, my friend🤗 I love what you wrote somewhere, and add me to your bandwagon. I am also one who wants to be put to task if I err and will beat down myself thoroughly before I forgive myself. So, I totally follow and approve the process Viaan put himself through. His growth is so well done, as is his struggle and his guilt, his integrity is so thoroughly vetted, that I have no complaints at all about Viaan R. The " me" who doesn't easily forget and forgive, has nothing to say against Viaan☢️. I am amazed at whoever has conceptualized Viaan's character and his journey👏. Kudos to Adnaan for owning Viaan, so completely👏Every nuance is beautifully crafted and enacted. Thanks guys, for giving us Viaan👍🏼

I like Aarav-Viaan bond, but feeling a little bit overdosed recently😳. Aarav is doing karate or boxing? He wore boxing gloves, no? I have no idea why and how this kid is able to talk and video call strange adults, meet them and be physically close😲I am getting very uncomfortable watching these interactions.

Why does Dodo exist in the show? All she is doing is pacing back and forth with a phone in her hand.

Why does Meera studiously come to Katha to give her the gory details of her engagement with a married man, father of 3?☢️Is it to make Katha's life easier while she is engaged with Viaan's dreadful business? Baithe, bithaye, sab information about Meera and Yuvraj landed in Katha's lap. No detective work needed, no planning or plotting, no hit and misses, no camouflages as a sardaarji, NADA ( no offence girls, can't help it as I have been fed healthy portions of Indian cinema and some small screen😎, kya karein? ), . This makes me question yet again, where is the drama?😒How can any self-respecting FL have it this easy solving other people's problems🤡, without meddling too much.

Katha's advice to Meera is so biased🤢👎🏼. Instead of putting sense in her head about how her life and peace of mind is going to go to the dogs, she emphasized pain and suffering of the crook's family🤢. If I were Meera, why would I care if Reet suffers or if the parents will have yet another heartbreak? Isn't it up to the Yuvraj guy to care about Reet, his daughters and his parents emotional well-being?😡Why should Meera be the one safe-guarding all this nonsense when this Yuvraj guy who seems to be almost double her age is into philandering? Instead, Meera should have gotten a dressing down for throwing herself out to the vultures😒

Keith continues to be pathologically happy😃I think with him, I have covered everybody.

I wish I can watch this everyday and nitpick more😃 Loving the show👍🏼 Chalo, the forum is saved from my overdose😉

I love reading your overdoses of the storyline🤗. Agree with everything you say it is so different from the norm. I don’t get why the TRP’s are so low but I hope that it doesn’t not go on the scanner - compared to most of the trash out there this is fab.

All the actors are so good - there are 2 bits of the storyline I don’t like (which you also mentioned) I don’t know how old Aarav is - but that message going out to the audience is just wrong. Secondly I do not understand (as you said) why it is Meera’s responsibility to back out of this relationship. It reinforces the message that women are responsible for making or breaking a family whilst the onus should be on both equally.

I generally have given up on shows giving sensible society messages when it’s generally the schemer who never gets caught and gets everything.

which brings me back to my point of TRP’s I would have thought what I see (which is Ghum-🤭) KA is so progressive ( yes I know the benchmark is low)

I guess I’ve answered my own question- the audience love the downtrodden women who are abused by all and sundry with no rights or respect. Then when it all goes wrong it’s the women’s fault.

Anyhow back of my soapbox and am loving the show and your posts 💕

It won't go under scanner.Sony shows(fictional) TRP range is like that.If you see the TRPs of other shows of the channel,it is almost the same.Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 has lower ratings than Katha but it is still on air.

Good - after Imlie season I am making sure I do not get emotionally attached to any shows. It took me ages to move away from Ghum only to get irrational with Arylie - that is proving much harder to do as I just loved that writing, direction and delivery. For a while that show was in a league of its own.

I’m finding the same with KA - I’m not clear on how close it is to the original however the show just have a different vibe, everyone is telling a story and the onion is revealing it’s layers, yes there are niggles but all stories can’t speak to everyone at the same time. I’m probably not explaining very well but I’m enjoying rather than feeling tense or stressed about what is going to happen to the characters.🤔🤯

@bold: Isn’t Katha doing a Teji here?

Is Teji Viaan’s mum? If so I agree.

Now that you mention it - with the exception of Mama and Papa B the rest of those in the elder generation are causing the damage and pain one transferring all her emotional baggage onto her son and Ehsaan mum wanting him to be ruthless against his friend when he is down. I sometimes feels that the characters in those roles - do not look old enough for the role and it looks odd. Though I can’t complain about the acting it’s more a visual thing.

Mili, we follow characters because we want to see a reflection of ourselves in them...how do they react, deal with situations, what insights can they give us which we can apply to our own lives. I did not think that I would meet such a character so soon but I did. I loved Katha when the show started. As a busy professional with personal responsibilities, I could relate to her. As the story progressed, we lost the initial Katha in the process which I find quite normal and relatable. Katha underwent enormous stress and anxiety over the years but she always came across as a very sorted out and strong person. Unfortunately, she went through the trauma of the ONS to the relief and happiness of Aarav's recovery to suddenly living a normal life after so many years and then dealing with the aftermath of the ONS which she wanted to bury deep within her subconscious. I understand the place where she is today. She should not be heading this Committee but as you rightly said, we need this for the drama and for the story to progress. We need some drama, right?🤣 Jokes aside, I am amongst the minority here as I am all for the subtlety of the show and its pace. I am glad that the CVs take the time to set up the scenes.

Coming back to my initial though process, this show also gave me another relatable character in Viaan. I absolutely love the arc of this character! There are very few people like Viaan in the world but they exist. Someone can give me the argument that Viaan is the person who offered the ONS but show me a Saint in this world first. The beauty of life is that nothing remains constant. I asked the question previously. Are we defined by that one big mistake of our lives or are we defined by how we overcome it? How many times do we get to see a true redemption track for any character? Mili, I loved the scene where Katha asked him whether he had never made such an offer before....the inner struggle which is reflected in Viaan's expression and eyes until he reaches the place where he is at peace to owe that moment and confess to it. I already love Adnan the actor but he totally has my respect for the sincerity he shows towards his craft. I don't need words from either Aditi or Adnan. They are excellent actors. They communicate through their eyes, their silences, their body language.

I love Viaan and his journey. I connect to his struggle, and the way he deals with situations. Very rarely do we meet people who owe up to their actions. I know the price of doing this, and it takes enormous courage. I see myself in both Katha and Viaan...real relatable people who make mistakes, mess up at times but they eventually find back their inner core and do what is right. I would like to think that we are not defined by one moment of our lives but by the journey...that all of our actions add up to who we are.

Batman-Robin: A child needs a father as much as he needs a mother. Katha is SuperMom but she acknowledged that Aarav needed a male influence in his life. But the grandfather alone could not fulfil that role...Aarav needed that one person to goof around with, to give him the mental encouragement and direction which a child needs. I am not ok that Katha is unaware of such a strong influence in her son's life but I understand that this is being done for the sake of the story and drama. Aarav needed to see Viaan to get back on his feet and fight. Viaan needed the simple innocent faith which Aarav has in him. They bowled me over with the scene where Aarav places his hand on Viaan's heart...if such a scene doesn't touch a heart, then what does?😊

Meera- Yuvraj...the cliché! If I were Meera's friend, I would tell her to run away from the douchebag! Katha, what about Meera? At least, Katha accepted that she is biased!

End of my ramblings! I hope it made sense🤣I can't wait for tonight's episode. How cute did Viaan look while he was trying to avoid looking at Katha? This guy is the CEO of the top architectural firm in the country!🤣

mili -- I had completely differect reactions to the last few episodes; so much so that I have decided to put some distance away from the drama and forum and not be so active for a few days if possible. so if you don't see me respond, that is why.

basically santizied viaan makes me want to facepalm. he is on some guilt trip and so has no healthy sense of boundaries and wants to bleed.

katha fluctuates between calling herself neutral but then zones off into utter stupidity and then bursts into vindictiveness whenever she gets spurts of anger. right now, neither are good for each other and need some distance. they need to stop making googly eyes at each other.

the committee proceedings ranged from stupidity to boring to downright annoying. now, the preview looks like viaan will let shamita go without consequences because he is so mahaan --- 😡

Its so good to see you Mili. I am enjoying this redemption track. A true redemption of an ITV character. And love the restless and confused Katha and a calm and composed Viaan.

I am reserving my POV for another day. And waiting to see the first hand embarrassment of Viaan tonight🤣🤣

@ M, enjoy the break and come back

Hey everyone

ok firstly about Batman and Robbin bounding it’s not to take it wrong it’s not he going out doing stuff

They meet in sane or they talk on phone

If we go university or college we meet lot of people does that means it’s wrong ? no

It’s not

If two people connect with each other it’s doesn’t mean it’s wrong it’s just that u have someone who u can talk to and won’t get judged by them

Plus age don’t matter because we learn from each other something or another

I think it’s beautiful shown by the writers and I love how they bonding getting stronger

Nothing else to say about the show I’m running out of words lol
