So akshu is the one who should explain the goenkas?
And goenkas are pristine white when they supported the man who divorced their daughter in a jiffy, and tamasha dekho like mute dolls when she was being accused by manjari on mimis bday and abhinanyus accident ?
When this season started , she was not the one who stayed away for 3 yrs..she was "made to" stay away bec of the conflict with arohi. Kairav said it a lot of times.
In khera kaand , this was his condition to operate on abhinanyu plus , she had to protect kairav from a false case ...
Staying with the goenkas after the white day would mean facing the same accusations on daily basis as their dear daughter arohi was still their bahu ..staying with them would mean giving access to abhimanyu again when he sepcifically ask her to stay far far away from him and his family ..
I dunno what's the baseline for a strong woman? That they must always depend on their family at the time of crisis ? It's the responsibility of the family to be there for their children in the decisions which they take . The responsibility of the family is to have their children's back and if goenkas don't have aksharas back, it's their fault, not hers.
To me its a vicious cycle that needs to be broken. We can keep arguing from Ak's side or Gfam side (right now I don't consider Birla's as part of the family equation), and keep pointing fingers at both.... and keep saying first this or first that. But from what they are showing, neither Ak nor Gfam is completely happy. Both side know they are missing something..... so they have to address this to move forward in life.
I'm not sure why you are talking about strong women. And family is important to everyone. A human being cannot function in a vacuum. If she could she would not need AA's support.
As for having her back, again, I think it goes back to her childhood. Someone mentioned how she always shielded AR, much to her detriment. I've not seen those episodes, so it seems like from childhood she has hidden her troubles and solved AR's, so her family never focussed on hers, maybe? That just became a habit for them, and she kept swallowing all her pain because as a kid she didn't know how to speak up for her own issues. So, in effect Gfam never saw her problems, and could not help her, and hiding them became her tool. There is no doubt that family is shallow, if none helped her speak up. Its just a sad situation.
